Simpson was tough on Saturday. Going into the day he was a player on my radar, because I was impressed watching him in the Connecticut state championship game. He is a 6’5, athletic, strong, stretch forward. Simpson was very aggressive throughout the day. He knocked down threes, and played great defense. His man rarely scored, and he played great help side defense. His length and athleticism allow Howard to be able to match up with multiple positions. Howard’s mix of an inside out game is strong. After watching Howard play a few times, I think he is a division 1 college prospect.

Kiio is a very athletic player, with a lot of upside to his game. He had a few high flying dunks during the day. He is only in the class of 2025, so he still has plenty of time to keep developing his game. He is a playmaker, who can create his own shot. He had a bunch of strong finishes at the rim during the day. He is a good two way player, who has a good feel for his game. I really liked how he locked down on defense, and was very vocal on the court. Even though it was the first time his team played together, he was still communicating and supporting his team like they had been playing together for awhile. You can tell he is a good teammate to play with.
Jayson is a very crafty guard, with a quick first step. He is athletic and showed he can play above the rim. He is a player who can lead the team in scoring or in assists. He was able to attack downhill, off screens and off the dribble. He also made good reads on the defense to find good looks for his teammates. It felt like Jayson was always in the right spot at the right time Saturday. High level of upside from the Point Guard.
