Ban Yor Ban Yor 6'2" North | 2026 NE | 6’2 PG | Omaha North 2026
I always enjoy seeing incoming freshman play whether its in the summer, fall league, or in this case at our Expo and have some success. Yor is a pretty long athlete. Great crossover and step back combo that got him an open jumper multiple times. He’s great at creating separation with his defender with different moves and his pace change. Crafty finisher with his long wingspan made the slash look easy for him. Three ball wasn’t falling but he shot it confidently from beyond the arc.
Lazarek Houston | 5’10 PG | Lincoln Northeast 2025
Houston is one of two 2025 guards I have gotten to watch the past two summers on this list. His game is a smooth as they come at his age. His ability to leave a defender in the dust in phenomenal. Plenty of times he would get his defender to rise up and then quickly blow by him. He’s got some great range on his jump shot and earlier this summer at PH Buckets in the Big Red he knocked down some real tough shots. He displayed some real creative finishes at the Expo, especially being a smaller guard, you may not always get the chance to just simply finish a left handed speed layup. He created some contact but also finished around it.

Shumaker will be a returning varsity starter for the Knights this upcoming winter. He’s very quick and shifty with the ball in his hands. Changes speeds well and his hesitation is one to brag about. I hadn’t seen him take too many three’s when I watched him in the summer but he was connecting from deep at the Expo and has really become a confident shooter. His ability to finish around the contact at the rim and get creative is another trait he has.
Reece Carson | 6’2 CG | Millard West 2025
Carson was dropping in threes all afternoon at the Expo. Very pure, flowing jumper with a quick release off the catch. Hands were in his shooting pocket ready to fire off his jump shot. He was a threat off the bounce a couple of times as well. He is also a slashing threat and got to the rims on several occasions. He’s got a solid finishing arsenal but wasn’t afraid to kick it out if he happened to draw two.
Lincoln Conrad | 6’5 CG | Atkinson West Holt 2025
For starters I really liked how Conrad played at his own pace. Didn’t let many defenders speed him up with the ball in his hands. He did just about a touch of everything at the Expo. He handled it for his team at times and most of the time facilitated. He knocked down the deep ball several times but this slash was what got him a good chunk of his buckets. Plays off two feet a lot down in the paint area and finished strong. He grabbed some rebounds on both ends, had his hands in passing lanes, and rebounded for his squad.
