Chris Ross Chris Ross 5'9" | PG Wallkill Valley | 2023 State NJ | 5’9” | G| Walkill Valley
An athletic lefty who lets it rip from beyond the arc. Good ballhandling skills and he can also facilitate in the halfcourt. He’s one of the better players in NJ that doesn’t have much recognition because he’s out in Sussex County. He had 32 vs Pope John and 30 vs Par Hills and Vernon. D3s should be interested in him as a lead guard type.
Nate Pluviose Nate Pluviose 5'10" | PG Pope John XXIII | 2023 State NJ | 5’11” | G | Pope John
A crafty player in the backcourt who can shoot it but also break down defenders off the bounce. He’s a tough defender and that will benefit him at the next level. Offensively, he’s shown some of his potential, scoring 25 vs Immaculate Conception and 22 vs Sparta as a junior. He’ll make a run for 1,000 pts this coming winter and his consistency will be essential for Pope John to have a solid season.
Nick Losada Nick Losada 6'2" | SG Gill St. Bernard's | 2023 State NJ | 6’2” | G | Gill St Bernards
Gill got decimated by transfers this summer prior to having some new players fill holes, but Losada, a role player last year, will be expected to be a leader. He’s a tough player who does the little things well and who can also facilitate an offense. He had 11 vs St Thomas Aquinas, which showed his potential. With the help that has arrived, his scoring load may not need to increase much but he will still be needed to run the offense smoothly.
Sean Givens Sean Givens 6'4" | SG Immaculata | 2023 State NJ | 6’4” | G | Immaculata
A long and lean guard who runs the floor well. He’s got good ballhandling skills and can get at the basket through traffic. Can score at the rim with both hands. Has a nice pullup jumper. Active defender. He had 25 vs Hunterdon Central and 22 vs Bridgewater as a junior. High GPA should be attractive to D3s. He’ll be the leader for the Spartans this winter.
Sean Agard | 6’0” | G| Irvington
Agard had a huge junior year in spite of Irvington’s team struggles. A fine tuned offensive player with good handles and a quick first step. He can finish in contact but also step beyond the arc and hit shots. He had 31 vs Newark Tech and 24 vs Immaculate Conception as top games last year. They played a tough schedule but Agard kept them competitive in most games. D3s should be interested as he can score in bunches.
