There were plenty of big time matchups, college coaches in attendance and a great atmosphere for preseason basketball.
We take a look at part one of some of the top seniors that were in attendance for session one,

DeShawn Harris-Smith DeShawn Harris-Smith 6'5" | SF Paul VI | 2023 State #53 Nation VA | 6’4” CG | Paul VI
The recent Maryland commit showed all of the skillset and intangibles that the Terps fans will love over the next few years as he is the senior leader on a very talented but young PVI team that will have a lot of expectations, but the way he leads I expect them to meet all of the expectations. The 6’4” combo leads by example as he plays with a great motor and intensity on both ends and exudes toughness in everything he does, he gets downhill and plays with a great pace where he changes speeds and when he’s in the lane he can both make plays for others and rise up and finish at the rim over bigger defenders and he’s an excellent on ball defender and rebounder for his position too.
Dennis Parker Dennis Parker 6'6" | SF John Marshall | 2023 State #89 Nation VA Jr. | 6’6” WF | Blue Magic
Parker Jr. is one of the best available players in the country and he made it back from an official visit to NC State for their highly anticipated matchup with PVI where he showed all of the tools that make him such an effective all-around wing. The 6’6” wing showed his ability to handle the ball in transition and make plays for others, he showed his slashing ability and how he can get to the rim and finish through contact and he showed his high motor and competitive nature as he brought it on both ends and played almost every position for them.
Camden Brewer Camden Brewer 6'2" | SF Blue Ridge | 2023 State VA | 6’1” CG | Blue Ridge
Brewer is a very underrated senior out of Blue Ridge who is a star in both basketball and football and with a bigger role this year he should turn some heads with his all-around play. He can play either guard position and makes great decisions with the ball in his hands, he can knock down shots consistently from deep when he moves off the ball and he’s a very good team defender who stays in help and makes plays on the defensive end.
Austin Ball Austin Ball 6'7" | SF Miller School | 2023 State #203 Nation VA | 6’7” WF | Miller School
The recent George Mason commit came into the Fall Series with a target on his back and he played extremely well in two wins over good Carmel and Massanutten teams. The 6’7” wing is a monster on the offensive end as he is an elite shooter from deep with good size and a quick release, he can get open on cuts and drop offs to play above the rim and he plays with great energy every time he’s on the floor.
Jordan Horne Jordan Horne 6'1" | PG Miller School | 2023 VA | 6’2” PG | Miller School
Horne had quite a few coaches in attention with eyes on him, as the 6’2” guard continues to improve and show his ability to run the show for the talented group at Miller School. He’s a strong guard who is dynamic in transition and thrives when he gets downhill and can use his strength to finish in the paint, he’s an excellent on ball defender who can turn ball handlers and keep them in front and he sets the tone on both ends of the floor for his team.
Will Bonde Will Bonde 6'7" | PF Miller School | 2023 State VA | 6’6” WF | Miller School
Bonde is one of the most underrated players in the Charlottesville area and is set to have a big senior season for the Mavs and he showed a lot in his increased role on Sunday. At 6’6” he has good size on the wing and is a strong and tough kid, he’s a sneaky athlete who can guard the ball and rebounds well for his position and he moves well off the ball and can knock down shots consistently from behind the arc.
