Tyler Rattler 6’0 2024 Guard of Sheldon HS
Rattler was one of the speedy guards we saw. He uses his speed to effect the game on both sides of the court. He’s a quality ball handler, a willing facilitator who shows patience up top while running the teams half-court sets, then he’ll switch gears on you and show his burst of speed at any time when he goes to get a bucket. He’ll blow right by you in transition using his cross-over. He spots up well for open 3’s in the corner. His quick hands, foot-speed makes him a disruptor on the defensive side of the ball. He gives good effort.
Mike Wilson Mike Wilson 6'3" | SG Sacramento | 2023 State CA-N 6’2 2023 Guard of Sacramento HS.
The Senior guard looks ready to lead this team coming into the season. He’s always been a strong body guard who could do good things on the court. He’s an excellent rebounder, along with his toughness to defend bigger players in the post. Now he’s guarding on the perimeter with good intensity. He’s improved his handles to create shots for himself. He’s a good 3pt shooter when he gets it going.
Charlie Stump 6’5 2023 Forward Bakersfield Christian HS.
Stump is what we call the X Factor, he doesn’t look the part but he’s a big factor of this teams success on the court. At 6’5 he uses his body to effectively box-out bigs for rebounds, he has to defend bigger post players. He works hard for his points in the paint. He’s a good court runner he can finish in transition. He can handle a bit to lead the transition break. He plays with good energy on both ends.
Davis Abell 6’0 2024 Guard of Granite Bay HS.
He’s more of a combo guard right now that likes to play fast pushing, and passing up court in transition. He moves and cuts well in the half-court without the ball. He comes off screen looking to drop a 3ptr, he spots up well in the corner as well. He’s a capable guard who can run point showing good patience up top along with making sure there’s spacing on the court. He’ll work to keep ball in front of him.
Jaden Woodard Jaden Woodard 6'2" | SF Sheldon | 2024 State CA-N 6’3 2024 Forward of Sheldon HS
Woodard had a good showing at this event. Standing only 6’3 he was the man in the middle for this team. He had good activity working in and around the basket, using his body. He used his body to get rebounds, and extra points, and a quick jump to get tap ins. He used a dribble or two and his body to get by his man and closer to the rim for buckets.
