Conyers had a great summer on the High School and Grassroots Circuit. Arden really benefitted when the hometown Gamecocks offered, and he gladly accepted. Conyers a big sized wing can knockdown shots on the perimeter. Look for him to continue his hot play from the summer into the season for the Redhawks.
Brandon is rim protector down low with great upside. He will run the floor and cover a lot of ground on both ends of the court. Brandon still must get stronger and add weight but that will come down the road.
Crawford can really affect a game on the defensive end with his ability to block and challenge shots all night long.
Parker was out for the month of July from what I saw not seeing him play anywhere. Chris will take over the reins this season for the Falcons with Collin Murray Boyles headed out west.
Chris is a physical young man who really knows how to use his body to score the ball around the cup. He will play for a new Head Coach in Ed Scott this coming season.
Oree has been a staple on this Raiders squad for the past 4 years. He can play both positions in the backcourt.
He feels very comfortable knocking down perimeter jumpers or slashing to the cup to score the ball. Oree will provide senior leadership this season for the Raiders in Class 2A.
Jordan really had a good spring and summer on the Grassroots and High School Circuit. Frazer a physical guard uses his body so well going to the cup along with a nice mid-range game. Jordan recently came off a solid showing at the Prep Hoops South Carolina Top 250 Expo in Myrtle Beach.
Highlights
Justice is a bit of a mismatch at times on the floor with his ability to drive it or stick an open jumper. Johnson teamed up with Brandon Crawford and Jordan Frazer on the Grassroots Circuit with HYB Raptors.
Justice has a great length and wingspan to pick up deflections and passes all night long on the defensive end. He can handle the rock up the floor. Really brings good versatility to the floor.
Rich is the son of Carey Rich who is currently on staff at the University of South Carolina. CJ will look to guide the Vikings ship this season with plenty of talent around him. CJ is a pass first point guard who really has a good understanding of the game.
