Anthony Bates- Seven Lakes High School, G
Bates has been very impressive the past few years on the scene, dominating every competition in his path. He uses his size to push the tempo of the offense and is able to blow by defenders to the rim, but also pull up for jumpers at will. Anthony has showed he is very effective at hitting shots in critical moments of games when his team needs it and is always willing to step up to the challenge when the victory is on the line. He also had a very impressive summer with the Houston Hoops EYBL team and was able to gather some Division 1 offers from scouts in the process including Lamar University and Sam Houston State. Bates Jr. is definitely a player who will headline the 2024 class for the city of Houston and entire state of Texas. Keep your eye on him coaches!!!
Jared Harris Jared Harris 6'3" | SG Silsbee | 2024 State #63 Nation TX – Silsbee High School, G
Harris was definitely by far one of the most impressive guards in the entire city to watch over the summer, gathering multiple offers and garnering interest from college coaches at the next level. Jared played a major role for his Houston Superstars squad in controlling the pace of the game at both the offensive and defensive ends of the floor. He was not afraid to defer to teammates when the extra pass needed to be made but showed he can also be a dominant guard with the ball in his hands as well. Harris has received offers and interest recently from Texas Tech, Houston, Kansas, Florida State, and Texas Christian. I can see Jared Harris Jared Harris 6'3" | SG Silsbee | 2024 State #63 Nation TX going on to be a solid guard at the Division 1 college level and he will continue to turn many heads this school year!!!
Robert Miller Robert Miller 6'11" | C Pasadena Memorial | 2024 State #64 Nation TX III- Pasadena Memorial High School, F
Robert was a big time name this summer and known for his work in the post on the offensive end. It’s amazing how much Miller is able to control the paint with his size and just making some of his buckets look effortless. He figures to play a leader type of role for Pasadena Memorial this year, with the way he controls the offense and is a force under the rim. He is able to easily push past defenders out of his way or make the extra pass out to a teammate if the shot is there. Robert is also a very emotional leader, always being encouraging to his squad members and leading the way with his fiery passion for the game. Miller has recently garnered interest from programs such as UT-Arlington, Oklahoma, Texas, and Arkansas. I am looking forward to a big breakout year for Miller and his Pasadena Memorial team!!
Gary Lewis Gary Lewis 6'4" | SG College Park | 2024 State TX – Conroe High School, G
Lewis has been on my radar lately as one of the more criminally underrated prospects on the Houston scene, playing the role of a big guard for Conroe High School. He had an impressive summer with Drive Nation Houston, averaging double digit points and rebounds and putting his name out there in the books. Gary has shown an incredible ability to be able to put the ball on the floor as well as knock down open shots from range when the defensive gives him a look. His defense is also noteworthy as he is able to force his matchups into bad shot attempts and usually comes away with the defensive rebound. Keep a look out for Lewis at Conroe on your radar this season Coaches!!!
