Andrew Jensen Andrew Jensen 6'9" | C Kaukauna | 2026 State WI — Kaukauna
There aren’t too many freshman prospects like Jensen. The Kaukauna forward stands at 6-foot-8 and is very athletic. He was able to throw down some big-time dunks with ease. I really love how versatile Jensen is on the defensive end of the court. He is very nimble which means he can stay in front of smaller, quicker players. He also is able to use his length to block shots from all over the court.
Zavier Zens Zavier Zens 6'7" | SG Wisconsin Lutheran | 2026 State WI — Wisconsin Lutheran
Zens’ skills jumped off the board on Sunday. Standing at 6-foot-5, the forward has tremendous positional size. He uses his length and strength to take advantage of mismatches. The forward doesn’t just have size, though. He is also very skilled. He can drain outside shots and finish well in the paint. I was also very impressed with Zens as a ball handler.
Jaxson Kastern Jaxson Kastern 6'7" | SF Solon Springs | 2026 WI — Solon Springs
While I think that Kasten still has a lot of room to grow, he was able to show flashes of greatness on Sunday. There were not many prospects on Sunday that could match Kasten physically. As a rebounder, the Solon Springs product is so good. He always seems to be in the right position to snag a board. If he is able to improve his game, Kastern could become a real problem.
Matthew Kloskey Matthew Kloskey 6'5" | SG Wauwatosa West Highschool | 2026 State WI — West Allis Central
Kloskey really caught my eye on Sunday. I love the style of game that the West Allis Central forward has. Kloskey is always playing with 100 percent effort. At the Freshman Showcase, Kloskey proved that he isn’t afraid to outwork his opponent. I thought that he did a great job defending multiple positions on defense. He also showed some flashes of greatness as a scorer.
Ashton Thuecks Ashton Thuecks 6'5" | C Elkhart Lake | 2026 WI — Elkhart Lake
Tuecks is certainly a name that Wisconsin high school basketball fans should have on their radar. You don’t see too many young prospects who are this talented. At one point on Sunday, Thuecks (who is listed as a 6-foot-5 center), snagged a rebound and the took it all 94 feet for an easy layup. If this is something that the center can do on a consistent basis, he will become a real problem.
Chris Pohl — Marshfield
I really enjoyed watching Pohl compete on Sunday. The 6-foot-6 power forward did a really good job of using his size and strength to over-power his opponents around the cup. He has a very high motor and never gives up on a play. Even though he is still very young in his career, Pohl is a player that I would bet on to be pretty good down the road.
