SubscribeWith the updated release of the top 200 rankings and an expanded watch list for the class of 2023 on Monday, it is time to take a look at some of the top players in the biggest areas of Indiana. We will start in the Northern half of the state and work our way down to the Southern half where we finish off with Evansville. We will look at Jeffersonville and Evansville next, but today, we look at the rest of Southern Indiana.
We currently have 32 players from South Bend in the Class of 2023 database with 16 in our top 200 and 9 in the top 90. All of the other players on our watch list are listed in alphabetical order with no ranking order whatsoever.

remains in the top spot for Southern Indiana, and the Linton-Stockton shooting guard has been one of the best players in the state for years. The UCF commit is the #2 shooting guard and a top 5 player in the state. He is an outstanding shooter and an underrated athlete who is going to be a Mr. Basketball candidate this year.

is another top 10 player and comes in at #6 in the state as the #2 power forward in the class. The Bloomington North star is an insane athlete and can shoot the ball really well. He has an extremely high ceiling, and he is going to make things happen at Vanderbilt. He is also going to be a contender for the Mr. Basketball award in his senior season. These two went at it for three years in Sectional 63, but North Daviess has been moved up to 3A after their state championship which means Mullen, the Oakland City commit, will have a huge chance to show us what he is made of. Bledsoe is a good scoring wing with a good amount of size, and he can make things happen on the court. It is a little surprising that he does not have any offers to this point, but he pick up a few during his senior season. Definitely a player for college coaches to keep an eye on.

from Terre Haute South is a big southpaw wing who has made a name for himself on the AAU circuit this summer. He picked up offers from Tiffin, North Park, Elmhurst, and Lake Erie among others, and he could play at a high-level in NAIA, Division 2 or Division 3.

is a bigger post player who plays more of a stretch four role for Bloomington South. He can bring his defender to the outside and either knock down shots or use a little bit of quickness to get past his defender and get to the rim. The three guys that round out the list of players from Southern Indiana that are ranked in teh top 100 are a trio of shooting guards.
