Cyprus High School || 6’0 PG Quentin Meza Quentin Meza 6'0" | PG Cyprus | 2023 State UT || 2023 ||
Quentin will be in the conversation of Utah Player of the year with the year he had last season, the resume and the crazy summer and spring he had. This summer you could see him pacing himself and making sure he got his teammates off as he is leading them and building their confidence. He should average 20 PPG and he will flirt with a triple double all year. Stay tuned because he could have a memorable senior season.
Hunter High School || 6’0 G Dominick Phannolath Dominick Phannolath 5'11" | CG Hunter | 2025 State UT || 2024 ||
With a depleted roster and the only player on the squad that scored some points and played significant minutes last season Dominick will likely have a green light and he should be able to put some numbers up. He shoots well from deep and the amount of shots he will be taking should go up as well.
Granger High School || 6’0 G Noor Aweyso || 2023 ||
Noor was able to score in double digits a few times last year and he did it at times without hitting a three-pointer. This next season he will be key to help Granger improve. He will need to be more consistent from deep as well.
Kearns High School || 6’2 G QuayVon Palmer QuayVon Palmer 6'3" | CG Kearns | 2023 State UT || 2023 ||
With a loaded team of seniors last season he did not get a lot of run on varsity but he is a player that will pick up a lot of the load going into next season. He has the skills to make some plays on both ends of the floor.
Roy High School || 6’3 W Elijah Sowards Elijah Sowards 6'5" | SF Roy | 2023 UT || 2023 ||
Currently has some next level game as a possible wing that can do some damage as a post as well. Nice mid-range and a developing outside game could really be something he goes to this season to help Roy make another stride at getting better as a team.
Taylorsville High School || 5’11 G Moroni Johnson Moroni Johnson 5'9" | PG Taylorsville | 2023 State UT || 2023 ||
Sharp young player last season as he was a recipient of a lot of open looks because there were a lot of players that teams keyed on. This season they will likely key on him. Look for him to take that challenge head on as they will need him to score in double digits to be competitive.
West High School ||
West has a big question mark to who will be the key. They have some p layers coming back but it is hard to identify/ Stay tuned as we will find some key players in that program.
