Top 105
#101 Dalton McNew Dalton McNew 6'2" | SG Carter | 2023 State TN (Carter)
McNew will play college basketball, and while Matthew Stokes Matthew Stokes 6'8" | PF Bartlett | 2023 State TN clearly boasts significantly better potential, McNew is a ‘two-offer guy’ now and Stokes is really not. Tusculum University and Coast Guard Academy both offered, while Kings University is in frequent communication with the combo guard. McNew is slightly shorter that the ideal height for a college 2-guard, standing 6-foot-2 and he is rather slender entering his senior season or he might be a Top 80 guy. There is no arguing his production though. Contact does not bother him at all. More slasher than shooter, but he can do either effectively. McNew scored 21 ppg with 8 rpg during a fantastic junior season.
#102 Caleb Smith Caleb Smith 6'2" | PF Hardin Valley | 2023 State TN (Hardin Valley)
Caleb is Hardin Valley’s starting quarterback. Had he chosen to lock in on basketball, then he was quite capable of playing D3 basketball.
#103 Matthew Stokes Matthew Stokes 6'8" | PF Bartlett | 2023 State TN (Bartlett)
High-academic. Offered by Arkansas-Pine Bluff in June. Stokes, despite his wonderful potential, is yet to really amass gaudy statistics, which is fully capable of doing. He was unable to showcase his talent and athleticism and size during a critical 17u AAU season, which obviously impacted/impacts his college recruitment. Tore rotator cuff and “had a tear in my labrum, so I had to sit out July.” Stokes will be cleared by November, at the latest. Once again Bartlett will be capable of advancing to the state tournament. Matthew helped Houston High School win the 2021 State Championship for Class AAA, then the largest classification.
#104 Logan Johnston Logan Johnston 6'0" | PG Harpeth | 2023 State TN (Harpeth)
Really good passer. Loves the bounce pass. Strong shoulders. Not going to jump over you. Change of direction is impressive. His hudl profile says bench 200 and squad 455, and those are both extremely believable.
#105 Justin D. Brown Justin D. Brown 6'4" | SG CSAS | 2023 State TN (CSAS)
