The tallest guard of the late June date, Simon Tesfit competed well in spurts. His most glaring skill was his outside shooting touch. Tesfit did not demonstrate the slashing or post-scoring to round out his offensive game. European-born, Tesfit is relatively raw as a basketball prospect. There is certainly a need to add good weight and also to instill some grit and grime to his game.
Simon Tesfit‘s hands measured the largest of the entire event (10.00″ x 9.25″). Watch his sterling Lane Agility drill performance.
Tesfit’s agility is impressive, especially at 6-foot-7. The sub-12 Lane Agility times stood out, blatantly speaking to his mobility and the sharpness of his steps. Unfortunately, much of this speed and quickness was omitted from his five-on-five performance. Maybe he needs to be more demonstrative? More greedy? Move better away from the basketball, perhaps.
Simon Tesfit is a raw, though intriguing tall wing guard with a bulkier frame separating him from reaching his peak potential.

Jakeb was the most improved camper, coming off his exceptional junior season with White County. It is clear that Jakeb puts in the work. Some players are virtually the same guy they were a year ago, but not Davis.
He is stronger, smarter, more skilled, and above all else significantly faster. His sprint times were incredible. Jakeb recorded the second-best lane agility time to Jasen BrooksJasenBrooks

, the best shuttle times, and a Top 3 sprint time. His speed, once very good, is now elite. In a room full of college basketball aspirants Jakeb set the marks to chase.

‘ outside shooting was always good, and now even better. His ball-handling is very tight and nearly impossible to disrupt now. He is just a more refined player than a year ago, and the physical maturity and work truly make him a more dynamic and steady player. His skill now has a better home to live in, a better body to operate within.
