Tyshawn Archie Tyshawn Archie 6'1" | PG C.E. King | 2023 State TX – CME Elite (Katy Paetow High School G, 2023)
Tyshawn Archie Tyshawn Archie 6'1" | PG C.E. King | 2023 State TX was absolutely a force to be reckoned with this weekend, leading his team to wins in dominating fashion. He made a strong case early on Sunday, in the first game against the Southeast Rebels, dropping a total of 23 points, on 10/16 shooting and added 3 steals, 5 assists, and 6 rebounds in a 67-20 victory. During CME Elite’s second game on Sunday against the Mo City Ballers team, he proceeded to again slay the competition, scoring 18 points, dishing out 4 assists, and crashing the boards for 6 rebounds. This young man will only get better as the season goes on!
Tristan Lisbony- C3 Black (Clear Brook High School G, 2023)
Tristan had a very hot start against the SE rebels shooting the lights out in the first half, going 8 for 10, and also dishing out the rock to teammates for a total of 5 assists. He was very vocal on defense and made sure to make life difficult for the opposing point guard. Tristan ended the game with 28 pts on 11/15 shooting with 4 assists and 5-9 from beyond the arc. Keep this talented athlete on your radar!
Marlin Meggs- Steam Ahead ( Cy Fair High School G, 2023)
Meggs, a talented point guard for the Steam Ahead 17u program, had his full dominance on display against North Houston Hustle on Sunday, tearing the defense apart for 28 pts, shooting 6/12 from the field and getting 14 of his points from the free throw line. Marlin showed he was very effective at driving to the basket and drawing contact, as he was able to gain a total of 15 foul shots, only missing one the entire game. Meggs is definitely someone who I can see has a tremendous upside and will do well as he continues in his journey.
Harrison Carse- C3 Red (Dickinson High School G, 2022)
Harrison Carse, a hybrid guard/forward playing for the C3 Red squad, had a very effective game against the Southeast Rebels on Saturday, dropping 11 points on 5/6 from the field and also was very physical, getting 3 rebounds, 6 assists, and 3 steals, continually being a pest on defense. He showed he was very adept at using the pick and roll, either blowing by the defender to the rim or dishing the rock to a teammate. Carse is a very underrated prospect who has a bright future as he progresses to improve his game!
