Cole Hofer
Cole Hofer
Much like his older brother Ty before him, Cole should play a pivotal role for the Bobcats throughout his time in their uniform. Already very athletic, Hofer is quick, strong, with good burst around the floor. He pairs his athletic ability with solid fundamentals, tough finishes in the paint, a good handle in transition, and good understanding of the game. A downhill guard on offense who can defend on the ball as well.
Xavius Kirkwood
Xavius Kirkwood
Strong guard who can get to the rim off the bounce. Really good off the catch and attacking closeouts going both directions. Does well getting to the paint in transition as well and putting defenders in a hole. Good rebounder on both ends with great instincts on defense and forces a lot of turnovers. Should have a big role entering this season.
Zeke Brown
Zeke Brown
The lefty should be able to catch the eyes of the new coaching staff there with his competitiveness on the floor and his top tier three point shooting ability with extended range. Brown is really good at getting shot ready on the catch and knocking down bombs from three and has a quick and smooth trigger. Can advance the ball off the bounce in transition in a couple of dribbles and pull up as well. Can fill it up from the perimeter and has a nice complimentary game off the bounce towards the rim as well.
Cam Boswell
Cam Boswell
Another lefty who can snipe it from three. Has a really compact and quick release and does a great job of meeting the ball and stepping hard into shots and hitting them with confidence. Really good shooter catching it off offensive rebound kick outs or drive and kick situations. Can get out and run wings and catch and finish in transition as well and he is more versatile on the defensive end being able to guard some 4s and 5s with his strength.
A long guard/wing with a consistent jumper from the perimeter. Really good relocate on the wings, user of screens, and spot of player. Can hid behind, curl, or flare into catch and shoot looks that he knocks down as well. His length makes contests on him tough to get to. His shooting should help carve out a nice role for him this year.
Breckin McBride
Breckin McBride
Hard nosed point guard who will be looking to step into a role helping lead the back court for the Bobcats. Really quick both as a defender and with the ball in his hands. Has good footwork and a nice quick stop on drives to get defenders off balance and can get a solid floater or mid range jumper off. Knives in and out in transition with the ball as well and an efficient finisher. Also a really capable shooter from three and should only get better from there. His older brother left a big mark at their school, but the younger McBride has the tools to step in and start strong.
