This was a great opportunity to see a bunch of guys as they head into their first season of high school basketball. Here, we take a look and evaluate the players that made up Team 5.
#96 Chase Youngman – 6’0 SG – North Decatur: Youngman is a shooting guard with a great feel for the game. Really athletic and shoots it well from deep. Liked the potential in him.
#333 Lucas Kleckner Lucas Kleckner 5'8" | PG Kouts | 2026 IN – 5’5 PG – Kouts: Klechner is a shorter lead guard with some nice moves on the ball. Has a real smooth fake pass that resulted in a layup. As a lead guard he sees the floor very well and did in fact make sharp passes. He is a floor general.
#339 Clay Mullins Clay Mullins 5'6" | PG Greenfield-Central | 2026 IN – 5’6 PG – Greenfield-Central: Mullins is a shorter lead guard that can score. Shot the ball very well from deep and showed an ability to play off the ball at a good level.
#398 Brady Lucchesi – 5’9 PG – Guerin: Lucchesi a Short lead guard with a great motor. Did not make a ton of plays but gets to the right spots when he needs to. High IQ it looks like.
#412 Cash Millspaugh Cash Millspaugh 6'0" | SG Jennings County | 2026 IN – 5’10 SG – Jennings County: Millspaugh is a shorter guard that plays well through contact. Made a couple of nice baskets and proved he can score. Pretty aggressive at times too.
#433 Seth Hoersten – 5’11 SG – Hillard Davidson: Hoestern is a shorter shooting guard with a high IQ. Made some incredibly smart passes bit wanted too see a little more of what he could do scoring wise. Played hard for the most part.
#467 Kasen Daeger Kasen Daeger 6'3" | SG Silver Creek | 2026 State IN – 6’15’8 SG – Silver Creek: Daeger was the best player here on Team 5. Shot the ball so well from deep and did so shooting from long range. Has a great motor and is just a sharp shooter of a player.
#481 Gavin Kersey Gavin Kersey 6'2" | PF Noblesville | 2026 IN – 6’2 PF – Noblesville: Kersey is bigger power forward that runs the floor well. Rebounded very well on both ends but he needs to work on his finishing and touch. Great size at an early age.
#789 Noah Smith – 6’5 SF – Plainfield: Smith is a bigger wing/post that has great athletic ability. Not overly aggressive but always makes the hustle plays. Defends well already.
#443 Sebastian Sprague – 5’11 PG – Mt. Vernon Fortville: Sprague is a shifty lead guard that gets through the defense very easily. Defense was very solid for his shorter size.
