Evan Otten Evan Otten 6'10" | C Redmond | 2023 State OR (2023 Redmond)
Otten led all of 5A in rebounding last season and spent the spring and summer playing with Bend-based BOSS basketball where he was able to improve upon his offensive game, particularly his outside shooting. OIT has been heavily recruiting Otten for a while, having hosted him for a visit and offering a scholarship. Since the summer ended other schools such as Point Loma Nazarene, Seattle Pacific, Northwest Nazarene, Northwest University, and George Fox have been in touch and he’s hoping to take more campus visits this fall.
Nick Robertson Nick Robertson 6'4" | SG La Salle | 2023 State OR (2023 La Salle)
Robertson finished out a solid campaign on the AAU circuit with Elite 24 and played in tournaments all over the country. The 6-foot-3 combo guard impressed with his shooting ability but also showed that he can play some at the point and rebound well for his position. He notes that he’s heard from schools at all levels but mainly from the D-II and D-III ranks, with Western Washington and Puget Sound standing out.
Sawyer Wolf Sawyer Wolf 6'3" | SG Tigard | 2023 State OR (2023 Tigard)
Wolf ran with the NW Reign as one of their top players and has shown improvement this summer with his ability to create and finish off of the dribble. As a high-academic performer, has garnered interest from a number of D-II and D-III schools and the 6-foot-3 wing notes that he’s been talking the most with Pacific Lutheran and George Fox and recently attended camp at Point Loma Nazarene.
Skyler Schmidt Skyler Schmidt 6'8" | SF Central Catholic | 2023 OR (2023 Scappoose/Southern California Academy)
Schmidt finished out AAU season playing with the Oregon Prospects after starting out with Team Fly. The 6-foot-8 forward continues to hear from coaches at all levels and currently lists schools such as Seattle University, Northwest Nazarene, Dominican (CA), George Fox, and Redlands as some of the latest schools to be in touch. He also confirmed that he will be attending Southern California Academy for his senior season in 2022-23.
Marquis Cook (2023 Jefferson/AZ Compass Prep)
Cook recently made his decision to re-commit to Oregon after decommitting from the Ducks earlier. His commitment to head coach Dana Altman gives Oregon one of the top recruiting classes in the country. In Eugene, he’ll be paired with AAU teammate Jackson Shelstad Jackson Shelstad 6'0" | PG West Linn | 2023 State #55 Nation OR . Had Cook remained in Oregon he would be ranked as the #1 player in the state’s Class of 2023.
