Continue ReadingHere at Prep Hoops PA, we took an interesting angle for this article. Knowing that Philadelphia is the “City of Brotherly Love” we embarked on a publication geared toward brothers participating in high school basketball at the same time. Also, having Philadelphia in the state of Pennsylvania made even more sense for the idea of the article. While many high school basketball teams throughout the state encompass four grade levels (9th-12th), we researched some programs that had siblings who will be playing on the same teams this winter. In a few cases, there will be brothers in high school at the exact time, but participating for different school teams due to a variety of factors. As we dug deeper into this topic, our scouts found that many coaches welcome the fact that siblings are on the same team not only for convenience for the families, but for continuity for the coaching staff in dealing with the dynamics of two brothers pushingand motivating each other in the gymnasium. Now of course certain siblings will play more than others, though in a small amount of instances you will see both brothers on the floor at the same time. Hopefully you enjoy reading the article as much as we welcomed the opportunity to construct this piece of writing…
