Once the winter approaches these young men will be underrated players in the area on the court. Here at Prep Hoops PA we enjoy promoting not just the basketball focused prospects, but the all-around athletes who bring the hard work in other sports as well.
Zach Ours Zach Ours 5'10" | SG Blackhawk | 2023 State PA / 6’0 shooting guard / Blackhawk High School / Rising Senior
- A talented defender who has the overall talent to be a multi-dimensional performer for his Balckhawk Cougars. He will look to take the next step to work at being a main focus for his squad on Tuesday and Friday nights in the winter. Zach excels in football, but could garner some attention for basketball in the future.
Brody Almashy / 6’1 combo guard / South Side High School / Rising Junior
- Look for this strong, solid player to continue his development as a sound hooper while utilizing his toughness on the football field this fall. His ability to score from a good amount of spots on the floor makes him an extremely tough player to defend for the durtation of a high school contest.
Jaren Brickner / 6’1 point guard / Beaver Falls High School / Rising Senior
- A leader on the field and on the court for the BF Tigers school team. Look for this talented guard to utilize his skillset to continue developing as a complete player at both ends of the hardwood. Jaylen has division 1 offers for football which will be the route he chooses despite having the passion for hoops.
Josiah Santiago Josiah Santiago 6'1" | SG Beaver | 2023 State PA / 6’0 shooting guard / Beaver High School / Rising Senior
- He is an athletic and skilled offensive player that has improving defense to help his squad continue to be a quality defensive team. Watch for this young man to show the work ethic necessary to become a successful basketball player. Josiah
Tyler Heckathorn / 6’3 guard-forward / Blackhawk High School / Rising Sophomore
- A young and still growing solid, skilled post performer that has developed a quality mid-range game to make him more marketable for his team. His defensive ability is still a little bit raw, but he will not back down from a challenge. Tyler shoots the ball at an extremely high percentage using excellent footwork to work on his agility.
Levi Gray / 6’1 shooting guard / Western Beaver High School / Rising Senior
- This son of a coach will be the main player for the Golden Beavers this upcoming winter high school hoop season. While being a force on the football field, he brings that energy to the basketball court as well. Levi will look into contining his career in college, but he has a postive attitude and leadership skills to become a true leader for both his teams.
