#15 Kaden Judie 2023 6’4 Alpha Omega Academy (RL9 Honor Armor Lions)
Kaden is a high level wing with the ability to play the small ball forward role with his consistency in the paint on both ends of the floor. He showed an ability to routinely finish out of the pick and roll and on the fast break. He had a play where he caught a tight bounce pass and threw down a monstrous dunk that got everyone in the gym excited. His athleticism was on full display, but not only to finish dunks. He made timely leaps to reject shots at the rim and snatch rebounds. I was very impressed with his ability to do all of the little things on the defensive end, anchoring his team’s defense and snatching rebounds. He is a confident defender on the perimeter with his ability to move his feet but also use his active hands to poke the ball free. He made blocks and steals just as his opponent was about to make a move, perfectly timing up his hands. He made great decisions when he had the ball in his hands in the open court and showed an ability to go coast to coast and finish on the fast break. He moved without the ball and dove to the basket and sealed off his opponents for easy looks down low.
#14 Smurf Millender 5’11 Clear Brook High School
Smurf is an explosive old school point guard who thrives on setting up his teammates, but also bringing intensity and energy to the court with his infectious play style. I was very impressed by how well he manipulated the defense and changed speeds to get around his opponents in the open court, and made slick no look passes to set up his teammates on the court. He is always looking to push the tempo and attack lazy transition defense. He plays with incredible energy, but he seems to be even faster with the ball in his hands.
Millender can confidently score across all three levels of the court, and has a nasty step back he loves to get to with consistency. His ability to score off the bounce was incredible, shifting his opponent and then calmly rising up in their face. He is a complete point guard prospect who not only has the vision and creativity to create space and opportunities for his teammates, but also plays with enough confidence and swagger to score the ball himself.
#13 Chase Cain Chase Cain 6'7" | PF Shadow Creek | 2023 State TX 2023 6’6 Shadow Creek High School
Chase is continuing to develop at a fantastic rate, getting smarter and more aware with every game. He is adjusting to becoming the focal point of an offense and having the ball run through him at both the high post and on the block. He is garnering a double team almost every time he touches the ball, and is accurately passing out to his teammates on the back side. He is continuing to make the right reads and create looks for his teammates. He is an incredibly lanky and a long athlete whose size seemed to fill up the paint and affect opponents on both sides of the floor. He moves very well for his size and showed a real ability to stay in front of quicker guards on the perimeter and hold his own against larger forwards looking to bang down low. Where he really makes his mark on the game is his non stop energy in transition, on both ends of the floor. He is great at grabbing rebounds and making the right outlet pass and then sprinting down the court to be a threat to the rim as he dives in the open court. Where I have seen the most growth from him this morning was his natural leadership abilities, taking control of the huddle and inspiring his teammates. I would like to see continued development with his handle and working more out of the triple threat and facing up to pair with his ability to score with his back to the basket.

2023 6’6 Beaumount United High School
Trealyn was the glue that held Beaumont United together on the way to their 5A title, with his willingness to hustle and do all of the dirty work on both sides of the floor. His long arms and lanky frame affect the game in a plethora of ways, whether he is finishing at the rim or protecting his own. He is a very crafty finisher, with an ability to change his shot angle in the air and finish with a different hand or at a different angle. His consistency at the rim was very impressive, even against bigger competition in their semi final matchup with Kimball and their 6’7 forward.
Porchia is an elite defender with an ability to move his feet and guard the perimeter, reject shots at the rim, poke the ball free and clean up the glass. He loves fighting on the glass and works hard to box out his opponents and seal them underneath the basket to a point where they cannot contest him for a rebound. Porchia and Arceneaux made an elite forward pairing this year, however Porchia has all of the tools to step right into Arceneaux’s role next year…

Jaylen is a skilled wing that is great at going coast to coast. He uses his frame and size well to battle for rebounds on the glass, on both sides of the court. He has good skill in the post and got to many shots using a plethora of moves to move his defender around. He showed great skill utilizing the up and under and got his smaller defenders to bite on shot fakes, and also rose over them for easy bunny hooks in the paint. He is great at creating for himself with a live dribble and showed a good ability to not only go coast to coast but to get to a pull up jumper from the mid-range and behind the arc.
