Max George Max George 6'3" | SG Antonian Prep | 2024 State TX 2023 6’3 Steele High School (CCYA Elite)
Max is an intelligent player who thrives at knocking down shots at all three levels. I loved watching him work on getting to his shot at the mid-range and spotting up along the wings and corners to knock down shots beyond the arc. He is great at flashing to the mid-range at the high post when the defense is confused from his teammates attacking the rim. He got a plethora of open looks from his ability to find weak spots in the defense. He is a special defender as well, his size allows him to consistently defend positions 1-3 and some undersized forwards. He is great at moving his feet and staying in front of his opponent. I loved watching him work as a help defender, he knew when to come over and trap the ball, as well as his work hedging on the pick and roll and forcing the ball handler to make a different decision.
Bennett Chudy 2023 6’3 Austin Westlake High School (THP Elite)
Bennett is an aware and sharp shooting guard who can score off the bounce and off the catch. His shot making ability was on full display, he has a very high release and can get it done in the mid-range and beyond the arc. He is great at creating space with very few steps or jabs, and calmly operated on the wings and in the corners. He is an aggressive player on both ends of the court, who is good at not only attacking the rim but showed a willingness to rebound and defend down low. He has a great motor and can take full advantage of weaker defenders. I would like to see him work on his ability to initiate the offense like a true point guard, he showed flashes, but I would like to watch him dominate the ball and create for his teammates.
Dylon Richardson Dylon Richardson 6'2" | PG Hutto | 2023 TX 2023 6’3 Hutto High School (ASAK 17U Elite)
Dylon is an elite offensive weapon with the ability to affect the game at all three levels. He is a sniper when he gets an opportunity to set his feet. I was really impressed by his off-ball movement and how he always seemed to be ready to catch and shoot quickly. He knocked down shots from all around the arc and forced the defense to contest him hard. His ability to calmly create looks for himself at all three levels was incredibly elite. He showed an ability to put the ball on the floor and get to the rim. He finished with ease at the rim and showed off some impressive up and under through traffic. He is an explosive leaper who can throw down lobs to change the momentum of the game. He has a real connection with all of his teammates and uses his court vision to create looks for his teammates as well. He is not a selfish player, he is the ideal combo guard with how easy he scores the ball but also makes the extra pass in the full and half court to find an even better shot for a teammate. Where I have seen the most growth in him since the last time I saw him was his ability to affect the game on the defensive end of the court. He is an incredibly aware trapper who knows how to cut off angles to the passes and really put pressure on ball handlers over every inch of the court.
Tiki Morin 2023 6’4 (Round Rock) Stony Point High School (ProSkills ATX Brown)
Tiki is a smooth scorer across all three levels of the floor. I was very impressed with how well he scored with his back to the basket, fading away and creating space even whenever he was planted. His ability to score out of the triple threat was very impressive and he naturally slowed the game down, and then quickly exploded to his spot, keeping his opponents off balance. With a live dribble he showed an ability to get to his spots as well, beyond the arc and especially in the mid-range. He took what the defense gave him every time down the floor. I was very impressed with how well he naturally scored across all three levels. I would like to see him work on his ability to get into the paint and finish with more consistency over bigger defenders.
Campbell Grey 2023 6’0 Lake Travis High School (TWE 2023)
Campbell is a sharp shooting guard who loves scoring in the mid-range and beyond the arc. He is a very polished scorer off the catch, and showed an ability to quickly get his shot off the bounce. Grey constantly knocked down shots from beyond the arc, and was always ready to shoot when the ball was kicked out to him. His shot making ability makes him an ideal shooting guard prospect at the next level. I would like to see him focus more on his off ball movement and tightening up his handle. He has quick feet, but could be keeping the defense on its heels even more with more off ball cuts and motion from corner to wing.
