Jake Fiegen — SG — Full Package
I have enjoyed watching a lot of high-level talent on the Prep Hoops Circuit this summer. But if I had to pick a favorite prospect that I have watched, it might be Full Package’s Fiegen. The SG is an elite catch and shoot shooter. I don’t think that labeling him as one of the best shooters in the nation would be an overstatement. He is certainly one of the best shooters that I have had the privilege to cover. On Saturday morning, Fiegen once again dominated. He put up 33 points in a big win.
Jackson Simmons Jackson Simmons 6'2" | SG East Ridge | 2023 State MN — SG — Sizzle Simions
Simmons continues to solidify himself as one of the better shooters on the Prep Hoops Circuit. The Sizzle Simmons guard has a very smooth and fast release. If you were a coach trying to teach a younger player proper shooting form, Simmons would be a prospect that you could use as an example. Top tier shooters have become a hot commodity. Because of this, I expect the shooting guard to make an impact on a college squad.
Syncere Green Syncere Green 6'0" Immokalee | 2023 FL — PG — Florida Elite SW
Even though his team came up short on Saturday morning, I still thought that Green did a lot of great things. The point guard was able to show off his long-range shooting skills, as he was able to drain some deep threes. The point guard did a really great job of using his high-level ball handling skills to get opposing defenders off balance. Green showed a lot of potential on Saturday morning.
Myles Dillon-Parks — SG — Sizzle Simmons
Dillon-Parks is a sleeper prospect in Minnesota’s 2023 class. The shooting guard is just so solid everywhere. He plays good defense, is a capable ball handler, can score when needed, and is never selfish. The SG always puts team success over his own. I love how Dillion-Parks is always looking to make the right basketball play. He never forces anything, either. He just takes what the defense gives him.
Rhett Pieters — PF — NWI Tradition
Every college program could use a big man who can make some big-time plays. On Saturday morning, Pieters was able to make some impressive plays for NWI Tradition. The power forward threw down two impressive dunks, which brought spectators to their feet! I also thought that the PF did a good job on defense. He used his size well to protect the paint.
Jervens St. Louis — G — Florida Elite SW
St. Louis is a guard who stands at just 6-foot-1. But he plays like a 6-foot-8 forward. On Saturday morning, the guard imposed his will in the paint. St. Louis did an outstanding job of using his strength to finish difficult layups in the paint. He was able to finish multiple shots around the rim despite heavy contact. I would suggest that college coaches take a look at St Louis this weekend.
