Nationally-ranked prospect and 5th-ranked point guard in the state, Kaden Gumbs Kaden Gumbs 6'2" | PG San Marcos | 2023 State TX eats defenders alive with his shifty and well-polished one-on-one skills. Strong isolation player who creates offense for himself whether he’s playing on or off the ball. Gumbs scores at a high rate off pull-ups and stepback jumpshots. This bucket-getter puts his high-level footwork on full display each game, showing off his quick first step, ability to change speed, pace, and direction with the ball, Gumbs seems like a gym rat who focuses and puts a large amount of time and effort in on footwork expertise. The Texas State commit has terrific scoring intangibles, great IQ, and the ball skills to get himself out of tough situations. Gumbs is impressively good at setting defenders up for the dribble drive with tricky body and head movements and perfect use of his off-hand when attacking with speed, he uses these techniques flawlessly to clear an open path for himself while tightly defended.

Boston College commit, Fred Payne Fred Payne 6'2" | PG Legacy School Of Sport Sciences | 2023 State TX is a talented left-handed all-around point guard with a specialty in getting buckets. This high-level shot creator is a threat to put points up every time the rock is in his hands. He’s someone who can carry the scoring load and rack up the foul count with his deceptive and instinctual movements. Payne handles the ball as if it’s on a string and he also changes directions instantly and precisely, breaking defender’s ankles and sending them falling off-balance and out of good defensive positioning. Great elevation on his stop-and-pop mid-range and three-point jumpers, especially when contested. Keller’s fiery first step, combination ball-handling moves, and high-level footwork assist him tremendously when looking to create his own shot from the perimeter. A handful to deal with in one-on-one situations as he’s incredibly difficult to keep a body on or stay in front of. This highly recruited prospect has proven time and time again to be explosive in every way possible, Keller is very quick off of his feet and demonstrates outstanding body control on his way to tearing the rim down after exploding off of two feet. This man attacks the basket with power and force and attempts to flush dunks on anyone he steps up to stop him, often throwing down two-handed slams from the baseline and tomahawk dunks when driving at an angle.

Marcus Millender Marcus Millender 6'0" | PG PSAT Academy | 2023 State TX plays the game of basketball with a special type of hunger, intensity, and will to win. The University of South Alabama commit proves to be a relentless slasher who angles his dribble-drive perfectly and uses his strength and ability to make decisions quickly to finish through traffic and contact at an incredibly high rate every time he steps foot on the court. Millender is a consistently physical guard that creates separation and gets the defense off-balance with his quickness, shiftiness, and strength which makes the game easier for him as he touches the paint nearly every time the ball is in his hands. The nationally-ranked lead guard attacks the rim with power and creativity while staying low to the ground before exploding into the air. He draws so much attention from the defense that it allows him to facilitate with ease by dumping off to his big man on the cut with wrap-around throws and quick no-look bounce passes.

This point guard turns into a mid-range assassin whenever he gets hot. His ability to get his shot off effortlessly is remarkable, defenders that are bigger in size, length, and strength do not phase him or cause him to alter his shot one bit. Hollis has a great way of using his smaller frame as an advantage to make plays in the halfcourt elite drive and kick penetration skills.
