Battle | 2024
State
MO
(MPJ Elite 16U): The 6’6″ 2024 wing from Battle has emerged as an excellent prospect during the grassroots season. He is an impressive perimeter shooter with extended range beyond the 3-point line along with a quick release. He is a solid athlete with good length which enables him to be a good rebounder and a defender who can get deflections and block shots. He just picked up a Division I offer from SEMO.
Jordan Shelton Jordan Shelton 5'10" | CG Mexico | 2023 State MO (Missouri Flight 17U): A 6’0″ combo guard who is an explosive athlete who has been throwing down dunks throughout his career at Mexico. He has continued to elevate his performance during the summer. He is potent offensive weapon who puts constant pressure on the defense with his ability to attack. He has a quick first step to the basket and he can elevate on the mid-range jumper. He will also knock down the 3-pointer when defenders back off and give him space.
Ashton Jermain Ashton Jermain 6'1" | PG Raymore-Peculiar | 2024 State MO (KC Spurs 16U): A 5’10″ 2024 point guard from Raymore-Peculiar is small in stature, but big when it comes to producing on the court. He’s a coach’s son with a high basketball IQ with elite level 3-point shooting range. He can shoot it off the catch and he can create his own shot off the dribble. He reads defenses well and he can also distribute the basketball.
Caden Stoecklein Caden Stoecklein 6'0" | PG Maryville | 2023 State MO (All Missouri Attack 17U): A solidly built 6’0″ 2023 point guard from Mexico who has displayed his scoring ability and playmaking skills throughout the summer for the Attack. He delivers some nifty passes on the money to open cutters and he will also feed the ball to his bigs in the low post. He’s strong on the dribble and he can pull up on the dime for the mid-range jumper. He can take the bumps in the paint and get the tough bucket and he can also pull up from 3-point range.

Staley | 2023
State
MO
(816 Hoops 17U): The 6’2″ 2023 combo guard from Staley has continued to emerge as a high-level offensive player. He has smooth handles and the physical strength to get to his spots on the floor and score in the lane through contact. He has a nice pull up jumper in the lane and the court vision to locate open teammates to deliver the right pass. He is also knocking down 3-pointers off the catch with consistency, giving him that three-level look on offense.
Kavan Newberry Kavan Newberry 5'11" | PG Lee's Summit North | 2024 State MO (Missouri Hawks 17U): A 6’0″ 2024 point guard from Lee’s Summit North who has good speed and quickness and enjoys the role of being a playmaker with his high basketball IQ. He locates open teammates with his excellent court vision and he will drop dimes at a variety of angles. He’s a jet in the open court with his speed and he’s a capable shooter from 3-point range.
Jeremiah Poniewaz (Phenom 16U-Brooks): A 6’0 2024 point guard from Kirkwood who has a high motor at both ends of the court. What I like about him is that he has some old school elements to his game. He’ll back down defenders into the lane to score on runners and short jumpers. He stays low on the dribble and he operates well in close quarters. He’s also a ball hawking defender who is capable of getting the strip.
