2023 6-0 PG Jonathan Weah – E2E Elite
Weah is an athletic guard that plays with great pace and energy. Jonathan uses his quickness to take his defender off the dribble and does a great job of getting two feet in the paint. Weah draws the attention of the defense and can find the open man. He’s a strong rebounder as well that has clearly been in the weight room. Weah finished with 10 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals in a 53-41 win.
2022 6-1 G Diesel Bosin – E2E Elite
Diesel lit up the defense with his three-point shot. The veteran guard scored off the catch and off the dribble, hitting three deep balls on his way to 12 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 steal.
2022 6-0 PG Anthony Alvez – New Mexico D1
Alvez came out smoking to open the event, netting 12 of his team-high 14 points in the first half. Anthony knocked down a pair of threes and used great body control to finish in traffic at the rim. Alvez finished with 14 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists, proving he could score in bunches when needed.
2023 6-3 G Zander Baxter – Omaha Elite
Baxter made his mark with the three-point shot. Zander has a good frame on the perimeter at 6-foot-3 and a clean release that spaces the floor. He hit three threes to finish with 9 points.
2023 6-3 G Aiden Cook – NEBC
The strong compact lefty has a pretty stroke from deep. Cook can create off the dribble, scoring on stepbacks. He also showed the ability to use his strength to get into the paint. He drilled three triples, finishing with 9 points, 2 rebounds, 1 assist and 2 steals.
2023 6-3 G Jackson Green – NEBC
Jackson Green came on strong down the stretch, nearly helping NEBC to a come from behind win. Green has a solid well-rounded floor game. He’s a physically imposing guard that puts his fingerprints on games in a variety of ways. With his strength he is able to help defend 1-3 and is an effective rebounder that earns second chance opportunities. Jackson scored at all three levels. He had 12 points, 13 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal and 2 blocks.
2023 6-0 G Branden Yecora – Nona Basketball
Yecora was a bright spot for Nona, netting a team-high 16 points. Branden sank three three-pointers and showed off enough wiggle to get downhill and score with his floater. Yecora is eager to improve.
