Jay Reynolds (Gateway-Knights 16U): The talented 6’3″ 2024 guard is a newcomer to the state as he comes from Ohio and will attend Cape Girardeau Central. His father was just hired to join the staff at Southeast Missouri State. He is an excellent offensive player the size and the skills to score at all three levels. He has a feathery touch from 3-point range and he has the athleticism to get into the lane and score on driving layups and short jumpers. He’s very smooth and he lets the game come to him. He is also very solid on the defensive end. He’s will be a major addition to an already Cape Central team.
Devon Kemp (All-Missouri Attack 16U): A 5’10″ 2024 point guard from Nixa who has good quickness and decision-making ability. He gets into the lane well on his dribble penetration and he can deliver some slick passes with either hand. He can also finish with a nice runner in the lane. He’s always looking to make the pass, but he has the ability to get a bucket when his team needs one.
Brandon Lowe (SEMO Select 17U): A 6’5″ 2023 forward from Cape Girardeau Central who has good bounce and a solid skill set to go along with it. He has a good length and a quick jump inside that enables him to be a very effective offensive rebounder. He has a quick first step from the high post to beat opposing bigs off the dribble and he can also hit the 3-pointer off the pick and pop. He’s constantly running the floor and looking to get easy buckets in the transition game.
Mason Robb (Missouri Flight 16U): A 6’0″ 2024 guard from Kickapoo who has a very impressive shooting stroke from 3-point range. He has plenty of confidence in his shot and he can run off three or four in succession when he’s really going. If a defender closes out on his too hard, he is capable of getting to the basket off the dribble to make a play. He has solid handles and he can also hit the mid-range jumper.
Ajay Cheema (816 Hoops 17U): A 6’7″ 2023 forward from Truman who has a long and lanky frame along with good agility. He is a very good 3-point shooter who can really stretch the defense. He’s ideal on the pick-and-pop with the quick release on his shot. He also has solid passing skills as he can see over the defense.
James Porter (Phenom-Brooks 16U): A 6’5″ 2023 forward from Cardinal Ritter who is very effective around the basket with his combination of strength and mobility. He works hard to carve out his space to get good position for offensive rebounding and he’s tough to move. He has good footwork in the lane and he can score with a runner, a flip shot of the jump hook with a soft shooting touch.
Trace Sadler (Team Ramey 16U): A 6’10″ 2025 forward from Sikeston who is starting to develop into a quality young big. He has a good defensive presence with his size and he is able to block and alter shots in the paint. He moves well as he can set the high ball screen and slip into the lane very well for the easy layup. He is also a very capable passer out of the double team as he can hit the open shooters on the money. He does a good job of keeping the ball alive on the offensive boards. He is just beginning, so he will be one to watch.
