Harrison Doennig Harrison Doennig 6'6" | PF Springfield Kickapoo | 2023 State MO (Kickapoo): The 6’7″ 2023 forward was one of the top players at the camp and the most productive inside player. He has a good combination of size, physical strength and a high motor which was on display as the ran the floor at every opportunity. If he wasn’t scoring on rim-runs in transition, he was getting the rebound and going coast to coast with the ball himself. He got the ball inside and scored at will in the paint with both hands. He scored 25 points in the one game I watched him.
Jacob Lafferty Jacob Lafferty 6'5" | PF Sparta | 2024 State MO (Sparta): The 6’5″ 2024 forward is a athletic, physical post who also had his way around the basket. The combination of he and Doennig of Kickapoo was almost unfair inside. He’s an explosive athlete with good footwork in the post. He can maneuver around defenders to score inside or he can just go over the top and dunk on them. He also had some nice strong drives from the wing as he showcased a solid handle.
Hayden Lovinger Hayden Lovinger 6'2" | SG Macon | 2023 State MO (Macon): The 6’2″ 2023 guard is a solid offensive player who can do a little of everything with the ball. He’s a nice slashing threat with a good spin move in the lane to get a bucket. He also dribbled up and hit a walk-up 3-pointer that looked pretty smooth. He’s a high energy player who’s always hustling and in the position to make plays.
Shane Conner Shane Conner 6'1" | SG Rockwood Summit | 2023 State MO (Rockwood Summit): The 6’1″ 2023 shooting guard was lighting up from downtown in the one game I watched him as she scored 27 points. He drained a flurry of five 3-pointers with most of them coming from the same spot from the left wing. He also scored on some nice drives to the basket while also delivering some nifty passes to open teammates. He really made a name for himself during the weekend.
Gage Johnson (Weaubleau): A 5’11″ 2024 point guard who has good quickness and a nice feel for the game. He stays low on the dribble and he does a good job getting into the seams of the defense. He moves well without the ball as he scored on some very good back door cuts. He can make the open 3-pointer and he also dropped some very good dimes in the transition game.
Camren Hillen (Helias): A 6’4″ 2025 forward who has good athleticism and length and he utilized both well on the defensive end. He is a strong rebounder who made hustle plays and dove on the floor to get loose balls. He also made some solid moves in the post with some strong finishes.
Grant Hale (Neelyville): A 6’0″ 2024 guard who is solidly built and a capable shooter from 3-point range. He plays the game at his own pace as he moved the ball well with the pass and could also get into the lane by using his strength and crafty ball handling skills.
