I was at the event throughout the weekend and focused on the 15U Division. Here’s a look at some of the top point guards I saw.
1. Isaiah Feazell – Grigori 2024/No Fear Elite 2025
Feazell is a good scoring point guard. He’s a good passer in the halfcourt and finds his teammates around the rim. He can push the ball in transition and he can slow the game down in the haflcourt. Very quick off the dribble and tough to guard getting downhill. Defensively, he never gives up on a play. He has quick hands and reads the passing lanes well. An overall tough player who dives on the floor for loose balls and ties up the ball-handler to get jumps.
2. Mateo Trujillo – Rolling Hills Prep 2025/LA Elite 15U Premier
Trujillo stood out for his ability to play both guard positions. He did well with the ball in his hands running the offense or looking for scoring opportunities off ball while playing alongside another ball-handler. With the ball in his hands, he is definitely a pass-first player though. Keeps the ball moving and looks for the cracks in the defense to attack and find open teammates. Pushes the ball well on the break. Good shooter from three-point range.
3. Uriah Tenette Uriah Tenette 5'10" | PG Prescott | 2025 State AZ – Prescott 2025/New Mexico D1 2025
Tenette puts a lot of pressure on the defense with paint touches. He’s quick off the dribble and can get past his defender without a screen. Able to play both guard positions and finds a good balance between scoring and playmaking. He’s decisive with the ball in his hands, no wasted dribbling getting where he wants to go. Draws contact and gets to the free-throw line. Good drive and dish player. Not afraid of taking big shots.
4. Amari Delk – Earle Stanley Gardner MS 2026/Gamepoint Inland Empire 2025
Delk is another player who hasn’t played in high school yet but looked comfortable against older players especially when playing such an important position at the one. He is a pass-first player who gets into the lane and can kick out to the open teammate. Able to dribble the ball up court under defensive pressure. Fundamental passer who throws actual bounce passes. Defensively, he can fight through screens and stay in front of the ball-handler.
