They won the tournament championship, and were one of the best teams in attendance. The team has many potential scholarship level players.and lots of high level talent. BABC is one of the top AAU programs in New England. The 16U teams plays an up tempo pace, and likes to run the floor. They have a lot of skilled, and athletic players, and like to pressure the ball on defense. They run an aggressive full court trapping press. Here is some of the team’s notable players.
Joson Sanon Joson Sanon 6'5" | SF Vermont Academy | 2024 State #11 Nation NLG , HT 6-6, Position SG, Class 2025, High school: Vermont Academy
Joson is always a must see player every time he is on the floor. The first thing you notice about Joson is his athleticism. In the warmups he was doing windmill dunks, and getting way above the rim. He can jump out of the gym. The second play of one game I saw, he drove right up the middle and had a huge dunk over someone. He had many high flying dunks all week. Joson is also a very skilled player. He is a strong built and a 6-5 guard. He may even continue to get bigger. He is an excellent finisher at the rim. He has a super explosive first step, and has a lethal crossover. He also showed his ability to shoot the three, and hit mid range jumpers. At the rim he had a number of tough finishes he made look easy, and a few very nice crafty finger rolls and reverse layups. He can score at all levels, and is an elite playmaker. Defensively he has good length, is quick, and a great shot blocker. At a recent Nike EYBL Tournament, Joson ranked as one of the most efficient players, averaging over 17 points a game, and over 1 point per possession. Jason is only a freshman and still young, but his potential is sky high. He is one of the top players in his class in New England and in the nation. He already has a number of division 1 offers, and it’s only a matter of time before the blue blood schools are after him.
Amir Lindsey Amir Lindsey 5'10" | PG Rivers | 2024 State NLG , Class 2024, Position PG, High school: Rivers, HT 5’11
Amir a super quick and crafty point guard. He has very good handles, and can use both hands effectively. At the Basketbull Hoopfest he had a number of tough finishes at the rim through contact. He was very good in the BABC full court pressure defense. He forced a number of turnover leading to fast breaks. When the opposing team pressed, Amir was able to beat the press on his own at times, and split through double teams no problem. He isn’t the biggest player on the court, but he still manages to get in the paint often. He can creat for others, and shoot the three, and is explosive off the crossover.

Anthony Daley, High School ST George’s, HT 6-2, Position SG, Class 2024
Anthony recently had one of the best performances in AAU in recent memory. At the basketball US Open, he had an incredible game with 21 three pointers made, and 67 points. At the basketball Hoopfest I saw a game where BABC started the game up 12-0, because Anthony made 4 three pointers, on his teams first 4 shots. I also saw a game at the Hoopfest where he made 6 three pointers. He can get his shot off in multiple ways. He can be a catch and shooter, shoot off the dribble, and off screens. He also has good handles, and can finish at the rim. Anthony already has one division 1 offer, and I expect that list to continue to grow.

Daithi has impressed me every time I watch him play. At the Basketbull Hoopfest, he had a standout game with 29 points, and 6 three pointers made. He has one of the softest shooting touches I have seen. I have seen him make three pointers that barley even touch the net. He has a quick shot release, and can get his shot off in many ways. Last season he was very efficient. He averaged 1.034 points per possession and 1.179 from the paint. Daithi is a high energy playmaker, who can finish at or above the rim. He is also a lock down defender, and has great defensive instincts. He forced many steals in the teams full court press, and was able to press the whole game without getting tired. A knock down shooter, who can get stops on defense and has size and athleticism is a high wanted prospect. Daithi has the game to be a scholarship player, and is hearing from a bunch of division 1 colleges already.
Jacob Cofield, Class 2024, HT 6-7, Position C
Jacob has a lot of potential and upside to his game. A 6’7 center who runs the floor, and has a wing span of over 7 feet. At the Hoopfest I saw his athletic ability, when he made a huge block coming from the weak side. If Jacob could improve his shot, and build up his frame, I think that would really help him at the next level. He rebounds the ball well, and has good touch around the basket. It will be interesting to watch Jacob’s game evolve.
Dylan Veillette, Class 2025, High School ST George’s, HT 6’7, Position PF/C
Dylan is 6’7 and built like a line backer. Last Season in the CIAA he averaged a double double with 20 points and 11 rebounds. For his big size, he still is very mobile on the court. His face up game, and back to the basket game can be dominate. In the Hoopfest I saw him play the above the rim, and have a number of dunks. He was very good on both the offensive, and defensive boards, and had a few nice put backs from offensive rebounds. He also had a couple nice finishes in the lane off of 2 feet. He did a good job knocking down his free throws when he was fouled. On defense he is a paint protector, who plays great help side defense, and good defense in the post.
