Ellis may be an internet sensation and many think he’s just a gimmick, but if you watch him play he’s a flat out hooper who can do a little bit of everything at the combo guard position. He’s fantastic running the pick-and-roll and makes all the right reads and finds open teammates with ease, he has great footwork when he’s in the lane and uses a variety of fakes and pivots to get the right angles to make shots and he can move off the ball where he’s a driller from deep off the catch. He may not be the most athletic guy but he has a great understanding of the game, is an elite shot maker and the ability to explode at any time, which he showed going for 51 points in a game this weekend.

Evans may not be as big of a recruit as some of the guys on his team, but he is an integral piece who fits their system well and takes advantage of it. The 6’4” wing knows how to move off the ball and relocate to get open, he’s a dead eye shooter from deep and he plays with a great motor and isn’t afraid to do the dirty work and make the hustle plays for his team. He understands his game and plays within it, and his ability to shoot the basketball can’t be ignored.
Isaac Ellis | 5’9” WG | Team Loaded NC 2026
The younger Ellis bother may not have the on ball skills that Eli does, but he’s an exceptional shooter who isn’t afraid to play against older players or in big situations. He’s still small but should grow much like Eli did, he’s a lefty with a super quick release and in the gym range and he has a great feel for the game defensively as he puts himself in the right positions to jump passing lanes or come from behind and make steals. He has a lot of moxxy in his game, and will let you know that he’ll shoot it from anywhere and likely will knock it down when he does that.

Passmore is one of the most intriguing prospects in NC in a talented 2024 class, as he has fantastic physical and athletic tools and a budding skillset to go along with it that shows he could have a breakout junior season. He plays way above the rim whether it’s getting downhill or moving off the ball and cutting for lobs, he can put it on the deck in transition and is an absolute menace in the open floor and he is a good rebounder and defender as well. He’s starting to show improvement in his perimeter skillset and when it all clicks he’s going to be one of the most recruited players in the state moving forward.

Washington is a player I have been tracking for a while, and he’s starting to come into his own as he’s not only grown physically but in his game and consistency as well. The 6’4” combo is starting to fill out and get stronger, he is smooth off the bounce and can get to spots to make shots from multiple levels and he’s improved in his ability to control the tempo and play at his own pace. Things are starting to click for him and he should continue to see his stock go up moving forward.

McNeil is considered by many as one of NC’s best 2024 prospects, and the Richmond Senior wing has an all-around game that is very intriguing at his size. He can play both on or off the ball and scores it well from a number of different spots on the floor, he can stretch the floor and has good range off the catch and he has the ability to post smaller guards and wings and go to work in the paint as well. He has a mature game to him that seems to come easily to him and he can fill it up in bunches when he gets it going.
