Charles Ekotto Nelle Charles Ekotto Nelle 6'7" | SF Olympus Prep | 2023 State NJ , 6’7 Olympus Prep
Ekotto Nelle had a good summer with Crusader Nation in the UA Rise, and it should translate into a strong 2022-23 season. The 6’7 forward has a good frame, which he uses to get position down low and finish through contact in the paint. Ekotto Nelle has a nice handle and is capable of finding the open man in the half court. He rips down rebounds on both ends of the floor and influences shots on the defensive end. Ekotto Nelle is a physical forward prospect who knows how to impact the game in the paint.
Tavian Pullock Tavian Pullock 6'5" | SF Montclair Immaculate | 2023 State NJ , 6’5 Immaculate Conception
Pullock is an intriguing wing prospect as he has the potential to impact the game in a variety of ways. The 6’5 wing is a good finisher at the rim and moves well without the ball in his hands. Pullock knows how to get to his spot on the floor and rises up nicely on his jumper. He is an underrated passer and has the length to defend multiple positions on the floor. Pullock has the potential to break out with his ability to make plays at both ends of the floor.
Mike Ewing Mike Ewing 6'5" | SF Mendham | 2023 State NJ , 6’5 Peddie
Ewing had a big summer for the Beasts and Peddie as he rose his stock in a big way. The 6’5 wing has a nice release on his jumper and can make opponents pay for giving him space on the perimeter. Ewing is more than just a shooter as he can also put the ball on the floor and finish around the basket. He is a strong rebounder and uses his athleticism to make an impact on the defensive end. Ewing has the potential to join the 2024 class and will be a player to watch in the 2022-23 academic year.
Dorian Alston Dorian Alston 6'5" | SF Brick Memorial | 2023 State NJ , 6’5 Brick Memorial
Alston had a solid summer for the NJ Shore Shots Orange and is one of the more underrated prospects in the Shore Conference. The 6’5 wing moves well without the ball in his hands, setting himself up for easy layups and jumpers. Alston has a good-looking shooting stroke and sets his feet before he shoots. He can defend multiple positions on the floor with his combination of length and athleticism and is an underrated passer. Alston’s shooting combined with his length and defense makes him a prospect to watch this coming season.
Jahmir Payoute Jahmir Payoute 6'5" | SF Snyder | 2024 New E , 6’5 Snyder
Payoute has the potential to play either the three or the four, which helps his stock in a big way. The 6’5 forward can finish strong above the rim and is capable of drawing contact in the paint. Payoute uses his handle to get into the paint and can knock down shots in the mid-range. He fights for rebounds on both ends of the floor and is a solid interior defender. Payoute is a tough forward prospect who can finish around the basket and rip down rebounds.
