Have you guys had a lot of success with this team this year?
This team has been working hard since October playing in leagues and tournaments. This is the 1st Championship of the year for this team.
How did this tournament go for your team?
We finished 4-1 in the showcase losing to Colorado Premier in the first game of pool play 34-38. After that the team regrouped well and really found their rhythm as a team. Austin Dutson hit 6 3’s vs the killer Bees. Alec Maynard had 25 points in the semifinals game. Mason Engstrom averaged a double double in points and rebounds. Ryan Mickles and Braylon Twitchell showed well rounded games during the weekend. Ledger Karras , Larenz Jordan, and Jax Lowder all brought high energy and seemed to always make the correct play.
Big Time Win
TSBA defeated Colorado Premier in the 7th grade Championship game 52-34. Mason Engstrom and Alex Maynard led the way scoring 18 points each for TSBA. Braylon Twitchell, Ryan Mickles, Ledger Karras, Larenz Jordan, Austin Dutson, Jax Lowder pitched in the rest.
What do you expect from your team?
As a program we tell our players we are only concerned with getting better as an individual and as a team. Our goal is to help develop our players to give them the best chance to make their junior high and high school teams. We stress skill development and teamwork so it is nice to see their hard work be rewarded.
Roster
#00 5’6 Larenz Jordan
He is a High IQ type of player that plays great defense and he also has great vision and makes good passes.
#1 5’3 Lincoln Britt
Not only does Lincoln bring some high energy to the floor the kid can knockdown some outside shots as well.
#11 5’4 Ledger Karras
Good long distance shooter, especially from behind the arc. That shooting goes well with his ability to slash to the basket as well.
#23 5’5 Austin Dutson
Another three-point shooter that can really knock them down.
#24 5’10 Mason Engstrom
Not only does Mason use his size scoring he cleans up the glass on both ends which makes him a double-double machine. The kid can step out and shoot it as well
#30 5’10 Alec Maynard
Alec has a Swiss Army Knife type of game as he can play all 5 positions which makes him a valuable piece in the teams success.
#45 5’9 Ryan Mickles
Great little float game and he has some size he uses well inside and out.
#55 5’7 Braylon Twitchell
Scrappy style of play with great finishing ability.
#99 5’6 Jax Lowder
Jax brings that energy and uses it on both ends.
#12 6’1 Tanner Heslop
Big time wingspan that allows him to rebound and block shots.

Scores the ball well really well inside
Notes: This is a good young squad that has some prospects in the class of 2028 that can play. Thanks to Coach Terry Schriver for taking the time to talk to us.
