As always, Prep Hoops Indiana had boots on the ground providing wall-to-wall content throughout the event. That coverage will continue on for a few days as we recap all of the action from the weekend. Now, let’s take a look at some of the standouts from the games on Sunday at Westfield High School.
Marcus Ankney Marcus Ankney 6'3" | SG Center Grove | 2023 State IN (Center Grove H.S. 2023): After recently receiving an offer from Indiana Wesleyan, this athletic guard turned in an impressive performance on Saturday afternoon in a win over Homestead. Ankney showed off his shot-making ability all over the floor on his way to scoring 17 points for Center Grove.
Aaron Fine Aaron Fine 6'3" | PG Noblesville | 2024 State IN (Noblesville H.S. 2024): Fine played very well despite losing to Ben Davis on Sunday morning. The 6’3″ guard is much more athletic than you may think, handles the ball very well, and can create his own shot from all three levels. He scored 18 points to lead the Millers.
A.J. Lux A.J. Lux 6'3" | SG Crown Point | 2023 State IN (Crown Point H.S. 2023): The recent Bellarmine commit did what he does best on Sunday afternoon pouring in three-pointers from all over the floor. Lux finished with a total of five three-pointers on his way to 22 points in a win over Westfield. At his size, with a very quick release, the 6’4″ guard is absolutely one of the best pure shooters in the state of Indiana.
Alex Romack Alex Romack 6'6" | PF Westfield | 2023 State IN (Westfield H.S. 2023): This 6’6″ athletic forward was possibly one of the biggest stock-risers of the weekend at the Charlie Hughes Showcase. He showed off his mobility, ability to finish with both hands at the rim, and his non-stop motor on the glass. Romack will be one of the most sought after small college forwards in the state over the coming months.
Trent Sisley Trent Sisley 6'8" | PF Heritage Hills | 2025 State #47 Nation IN (Heritage Hills H.S. 2025): Playing in front of Tom Izzo, Chris Holtmann, and assistants from Purdue and Butler, Sisley certainly showed well scoring 30 points in a close loss to Heritage Christian. The 6’7″ forward did a little bit of everything showing off his ball handling, mobility, and range out to the three-point arc.
K.J. Windham K.J. Windham 6'3" | PG Ben Davis | 2024 State #137 Nation IN (Ben Davis H.S. 2024): Windham got hot from beyond the arc in Ben Davis’ big win over Noblesville to start the day on Sunday. The 6’3″ left-handed guard knocked in five triples on his way to a game-high 19 points. He continues to shoot the ball very well this summer.
