Top 2024 Wings from Prep Hoops Easter Classic

<p>Check out my scouting reports and analysis on some of the best 2024 wings who really shined during their time on the court at the PrepHoops Easter Classic. I cant wait to see the growth they will begin to show over the next few months!</p> <p><strong>Peter Serunjoji </strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">2024 6’5 Mansfield Summit High School, TX (3P Elite 2023)</span></p> <p>Peter is an aggressive player who thrives off his ability to get downhill and into the teeth of the defense with his creative handle and ability to turn the corner on seemingly anyone. I loved watching him manipulate on ball screens and attack the defense on the short screen. He made his defenders get called out by their coaches for their inability to keep up with him through screens. He was great at attacking space when they sagged off of him to avoid the screen, he routinely got past his opponent and made the right decision.  At time he over dribbles and gets himself into trouble, but this is something that should sort itself out with more time and game repetitions.</p> <p><strong>Bri’trevian Lee </strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">2024 6’3 Nortide High School, LA (Cenla Storm 2023) <br /> </span></p> <p>Bri’trevian is a creative wing who specializes in his ability to finish in the paint through contact or evading it! I was very impressed with his ability to consistently finish in the paint over defenders, or by evading outstretched limbs! I was blown away by the ease in which he finished in the paint, displaying an array of difficult finishes and adjusting his shot angle. I would like to see him get more confident with his shot off the dribble, he turned the corner and got into the teeth of the defense with ease, but seemed to only be confident enough to attack the rim with his size. He was very impressive through his time on the court, showing off his high motor and the swagger he has when driving to the basket.</p> <p><strong>Pierre Kemp </strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">2024 6’2 Bellaire High School, TX (Houston Kings Elite 2024) </span></p> <p>Pierre is a small ball wing who thrives on his ability to defend on the perimeter while also attacking his opponents with a live dribble. He is a high level on ball defender who is good at using his length to disrupt ball handlers, he displayed a good ability to move his feet and keep his man in front of him at all times. It was a pleasure watching him make his opponents uncomfortable with his aggressive play on that end of the floor. Pierre should become a valuable addition to the Bellaire roster that is stacked with young talent at every position, and I am excited to see how he develops this year and the leap he begins to take as he spends more time within Coach Koepke’s system.</p> <p><strong><span class="pn-player-link"> <span class="name-pointer">[player_tooltip player_id="1354703" first="Jensen" last="Knowles"]</span> <span class="info-box"> <a href="https://prephoops.com/player/jensen-knowles/"> <span class="player-img"><img class=" ls-is-cached lazyloaded" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2022/04/IMG-4260-rotated-e1650574167384-150x150.jpg" data-src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2022/04/IMG-4260-rotated-e1650574167384-150x150.jpg" /></span></a></span></span> </strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">2024 6’3 Richardson High School, TX (Victory Academy Gold)</span></p> <p>Jensen is a complete player with his ability to put the ball on the floor and score off the dribble, as well as shadow his opponent on the defensive end of the floor and play in the passing lanes. His versatility on the defensive end of the floor allowed him to wreak havoc on the perimeter, and even protect the rim when necessary. He consistently moves his feet at a very high level and knows how to come up with steals and live on the fast break. I was very impressed with his ability to create space off the dribble, as well as his consistent off ball movement. He worked the baseline for open shots in the corners and flashed to the front of the rim for easy looks in the paint. I would like to see him work on his consistency in the paint and working on his ability to score over bigger defenders in the paint. </p> <p><strong>Judah Pe<span class="cQp1Ab">ña </span></strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><span class="cQp1Ab">2024 6’5 iSchool of Lewisville, TX (ESBY 2024)</span></span></p> <p>Judah is an aggressive player who has the ability to score with ease off the bounce. He is great at scoring off the dribble from all three levels of the floor. He possesses great athleticism which allows him to rise up and hammer home emphatic dunks on the fast break. Judah has all the tools to become an effective weapon at the next level with his frame and ability to create space with his handle while also getting to the rack. I loved watching him compete on both ends of the court, his aggressiveness bleeds through to both ends of the court which allows him to wreak havoc on the perimeter. I would like to see him work on staying aggressive and be more willing to use his size to be weapon on the glass while also protecting the rim. </p>
