Jaylen Mullen Jaylen Mullen 6'0" | PG North Daviess | 2023 State IN North Daviess (Grand Park Premier)
Mullen impressed me in the PG slot on both the offensive and defensive ends of the floor. Defensively, he stayed in front of his guy and got around and through screens with his versatility. Offensively, utilized his speed and handle to get by defenders and consistently got to the free throw line. His jump shot is definitely early and was long many times, but his handle as a PG strongly overpowers his shot mechanics.
Joey Hart Joey Hart 6'5" | SG Linton-Stockton | 2023 State #214 Nation IN Linton (Grand Park Premier)
Hart struggled a bit in the matchup with Y&R Saturday morning as the shots weren’t falling for the 6-foot-5 SG. Hart has a good understanding of floor spacing and was ready for shots when he received the opportunity. When the shots weren’t falling, Hart impressed with his drive & kick as he reminded me of Gabe Cupps with his ability to thread the needle and complete passes once penetrating. Hart still to me looks like a LM prospect that Horizon League schools should prioritize.
Caleb Washington Caleb Washington 6'5" | PF Floyd Central | 2023 State IN Floyd Central (Grand Park Premier)
Washington came off the bench for GPP and with his floor appearances brought a bulkier frame. Bigger arms and broad chest. Washington combined his body with athleticism as he contested on the glass and challenged bigger opponents. While Washington certainly has the athleticism, he lacks the length as he stands only 6-foot-6. His lack of size makes me believe he will have to play the SF in college vs PF he played for Grand Park Premier.
David Meriwether David Meriwether 6'10" | C Lawrence North | 2023 UT Indy Met (George Hill-All Indy)
Meriwether impressed me right away with his towering size as he jumps off the page with his 6-foot-10 frame. Has a solid body and build . Good vertical leap which combined with his length makes Meriwether a solid rim protector. Meriwether gets up and down the floor and made some plays in transition which tells me he can succeed in both the half court and full court settings.
Garwey Dual Garwey Dual 6'5" | PG Carmel | 2023 #113 Nation CA-S Carmel (George Hill-All Indy)
Dual was great for All Indy in their matchup with Midwest Basketball Club 3SSB. It’s not often I see a guard able to beat Gabe Cupps off the perimeter, but Dual just might be the first I’ve seen. Fantastic acceleration and quick handle of the basketball. Kept the ball close and positioned his body to avoid on-ball pressure. Dual’s size at 6-foot-4 makes him even more intriguing to watch as he could be a potential D1 target for schools across the Midwest.
