The Pittsburgh event was filled with talent from all over the nation, but several Pittsburgh-area players showed out.
’ Ethan Anish Ethan Anish 6'1" | CG Taylor Allderdice | 2023 State PA – 6’0 G, Allderdice
Anish has soft touch around the paint and is not afraid to shoot floaters on the run off one leg. Has the ability to shoot from deep and is a confident leader. High-energy guy for Allderdice throughout the season and his touch inside and out has improved even since the season. Will be one of the top guards in City League next fall and winter.
Courtney Wallace Courtney Wallace 6'2" | CG The Neighborhood Academy | 2025 State PA – 6’0 G, Neighborhood Academy
One of the best underclassmen I saw all weekend at Pitt Jam Fest. Wallace (2025), played up for Rytes, and earned an offer from Fordham while at the tournament. Continuously hit deep twos and was confident in both his handle and his passing ability. Great length for his age and his position and has all of the tools to become the top guard in the area when he is an upperclassmen.
Drew Sleva Drew Sleva 5'10" | PG Chartiers Valley | 2023 State PA – 6’1 G, Chartiers Valley
Sleva has an unorthodox release on his jumper, but he makes it work. Shot the ball well from the mid-range and had solid court vision. The trait that stood out the most to me about Sleva was his balance. He runs with a low center of gravity and dribbles the ball low, keeping it down by the floor and making him an effective ball handler.
Jonathan Anderson – 5’11 G – New Castle
Anderson was a reliable guard on a solid PK Flash squad all weekend. On the shorter side, but makes up for it with electrifying quickness and the ability to change direction instantly. Shot the three ball well on the weekend and moved the ball around the perimeter with a sense of urgency. Lockdown defender. Anderson is a pest to opposing teams.
Tasso Sfanos Tasso Sfanos 6'1" | PG Mars | 2023 State PA – 6’1 G, Mars
Sfanos, playing for PK Flash, took over down the stretch in a win over Rytes. Just a talented guard that every local team would love to have. Sfanos set up his teammates inside and outside, shot the ball with confidence, hit big free throws, and just had a great feel for the game. He did not force anything, and stepped up to the plate as the second half gained intensity.
Isaiah Logvin, 6’0 G, McDowell
The sharp-shooting guard showed consistent range for Legendz throughout the weekend. Had multiple steals as well and showed calm finishing ability and smart decision making on the fast break. Sniper from outside that looks ready to be a main contributor for McDowell next season.
