Mason Prey Mason Prey 6'4" | CG Newman Catholic | 2023 State WI — SG — Wisconsin Playmakers
The overall game of Prey is very impressive. The shooting guard just knows how to make winning plays. Whether that be scoring, passing to teammates, or competing hard on the defensive end. Prey can do it all. He does a really good job of always playing at his own pace. He is never playing too fast or too slow. With some college coaches in attendance this weekend, I expect Prey to earn some well-deserved college interest.
Aidan Chislom — SF — Wisconsin Academy
I really like the versatility that Chislom brings to the court, especially on the offensive end. The small forward can do many different things. He can use his positional size and athleticism to slash to the rim and finish difficult layups. Or he can space the floor and knock down deep threes. Chislom has also proved to be an effective ball handler and passer.
Deven Kulp Deven Kulp 6'2" | CG Mcfarland | 2023 State WI — SG — Wisconsin Academy
On Saturday afternoon, Kulp had one of the better individual shooting performances that I have ever seen. He kept getting open, his teammates kept passing him the ball, and most importantly, Kulp kept draining threes. When you have a shooter that is as good as Kulp on the floor, it puts so much stress on the opposing defense. Kulp’s hot shooting helped Wisconsin Academy to a big win on Saturday.
Josiah Butler Josiah Butler 6'3" | CG Fox Valley Lutheran | 2022 State WI — SG — Wisconsin Playground Club
Butler is an uncommitted 2022 prospect who I have heard some good things about this spring. I like what the shooting guard brings on the offensive end. He is a pure scorer that can get buckets from all three levels. In the first half of Playground’s blowout win, Butler’s three-point shot was not falling. But this didn’t stop him from finding success. He still scored well at the rim and made some midrange shots.
Brogan McIntyre Brogan McIntyre 6'5" | SF Milton | 2023 State WI — PF — Wisconsin Playground Club
Mcintyre brings a lot of energy and effort to the table for a loaded Wisconsin Playground Club squad. He plays really hard on the defensive end, as the forward has no problem fighting hard for rebounds or blocking shots. On offense, he is a highlight waiting to happen. If he is anywhere near the rim, there is a good chance that Mcintyre will attempt to throw down a dunk. He was able to put up an impressive 18 points in a blowout win for Playground on Saturday evening.
Emmett Lawton Emmett Lawton 6'2" | SG Notre Dame Academy | 2023 State WI — SG — Team 1848
Lawton is one of the better pure shooters that you will see at this level. Every time he lets a shot fly from deep, you just have a feeling that it is going to go in. In a huge comeback win for Team 1848, Lawton tallied an incredible 29 points on nine made three pointers. Any college programs looking for a sharpshooter should look no further than Lawton.
Tate Petersen Tate Petersen 6'1" | PG Monticello | 2023 State IA — PG — Iowa Mavs
Petersen had maybe the best scoring performance that I have seen all spring for the Iowa Mavs in a close defeat. The point guard was able to pour in 37 points on ten made threes. Petersen had a solid first half, but he really got going in the second period. He was able to tally 31 points in the second. Everything that Petersen tried worked in the second half.
