Hustle In The Sun Preview: Players To Watch

<p>Spring is here and that can only mean one thing. It’s Circuit Season! The Prephoops Circuit is upon us. I will be covering and providing exposure for the Hustle Region Circuit. The Hustle Region Circuit consists of AAU Programs from California, Oregon, Washington, Arizona, Utah, Montana, Idaho, Colorado, and New Mexico. The circuit features 10 stops including the Hustle Region Final in Irvine July 15th – 17th. Stop number 5 sends us to Irvine California, for the Hustle In The Sun, where we will have everyone playing under one roof inside the Momentous Sports Arena. After 4 stops, I’ve had an opportunity to see a lot of players. In this article, we take a look at the players to watch at Hustle In The Sun, </p> <p><strong>Nygle Williams</strong> <em>6’7 PF BTI Elite 2022</em> - Saw Williams in Kansas City, and was intrigued by his size and motor. The high-level, energy and effort guy was able to rebound and defend at an efficient clip two weeks ago, now I’m watching to see what his overall offensive skill set looks like. </p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="1437035" first="Dalton" last="Norvell"] <em>6’2 SG Coastal Elite 2023</em> <em>(featured image)</em> - Norvell was one of the better bucket getters last time I was in California. The scoring shooter has a smooth offensive game which allows him to score off drives and catch and shoot threes. Watching to see who and how he defends this weekend. </p> <p><strong>Christian Wilson</strong> <em>6’5 PF D1 Southern California</em> - I only got a glimpse of the big fella last weekend. The nimble-footed, high IQ competitor ranges from being a dirty work guy to a corner 3-point specialist. Here’s what I’m watching for. I want to validate that Wilson tangible impacts games in other ways besides his scoring. </p> <p><strong>Elayas Delgado</strong> <em>6’0 SG IE Fire 2025</em> - Delgado has been one of the most consistent players on the circuit. Everytime I’ve shown up to watch him, he’s performed. What I’m looking to identify this weekend is his weakness. There are no perfect players, but the shooting guard has been good shooting, slashing, and playing on the defensive end. There’s got to be something he can’t do, I’m going to look to find out this weekend. </p> <p><strong>Julius Brower</strong> <em>5’10 SG IE Fire 2025</em> - In all honesty, the Fire has a bunch of guys that can go. Brower gets the nod because of his continued improvement from week to week. He’s transformed himself into one of the better shooters on the circuit.
