Grit Region Memorial Classic in Columbus, Ohio. All games were played at Pickerington North High School. These are the Top Performers from the action on Day 2.   Kendall Anthony - Ohio Primetime Basketball 2025 | CCPA Anthony is an athletic, multi-faceted wing that is above average in just about every category. Anthony was impressive in the half-court by his interior passing and bounce off the floor. He is a great decision-maker in transition by making passes on time and on target. He raises the play of his teammates and his unselfish approach is contagious.   Jayce Rothwell - Ohio Primetime Basketball 2025 | North Adams Rothwell is primarily a drive-first guard that attacks the paint relentlessly. He can use his momentum from a transition opportunity or he can put his head down and force the issue. Although not a deep threat yet, there is great awareness in knowing your limitations and focusing on what you do well. He did a great job absorbing contact but completing most plays around the rim. Rothwell was aggressive on the defensive end too by diving for loose balls and snatching rebounds in traffic.   Mike Akindele - Cincy Shock Akindele is a developing playmaker that flashes on the court with his agility. Playing with a group that uses a lot of reserves, Akindele maximized his time on the court by playing tough on-the-ball defense and fighting for rebounds. His timing to contest shots was another area of his game that is impressive. As his jump shot progresses, he can use his strong right-hand dribble drive to his advantage to get easy attempts in the paint and capitalize at the free-throw line.   Emryk Moffit - Cincy Shock Moffit was the most obvious floor genera of the event. He has the versatility to initiate the offense, break the press defense, and still find opportunities to get in the paint area for his shot. His teammates look more in sync and confident when he has the ball in his hands. Throughout the weekend, he played tough defense and had active hands in the passing lanes. Moffit closed out their final game on Sunday with a game-winning 3-point play with 12 seconds.   Tyler Kropp - Nova Village - Patterson | Olentangy Liberty Kropp is an excellent ball-handler for his size. His mobility and footwork are well developed and his perimeter shooting is impressive. Kropp has a ton of upside to develop into a dominant stretch forward. Playing with an extremely well-balanced and talented group, Kropp still found opportunities to be a threat.
