Sharron Young Sharron Young 6'0" | PG Morgantown | 2024 State #292 Nation WV – G – Easy Street Family (WV)
Young, a 6-foot guard out of Morgantown, West Virginia, dominated in a win over OBC. He controlled the tempo of the game from the point, setting up his teammates with countless assists and scoring at will. Young is a true floor general and made all of his teammates better on Saturday. Hit multiple threes and drove to the rack when his team needed a bucket.
Jake Stephens Jake Stephens 6'3" | CG Chelsea | 2024 State MI – W – DV 45
Stephens is a tall wing who camped out on the outside for the most part, hitting two threes and using his excellent court vision to find cutting teammates. Defended bigger forwards well inside and used his long arms to get his hands on every loose ball. Well-rounded wing had a great showing in a win over INB. He got better and better as the game went on.
Cam Brown – G – OBC
Brown elevated for three loud shot blocks when I watched him against ESF. Guard with long arms who shot the three ball well and plays with lots of patience. Off-ball guard has some serious bounce to him, elevating up on both sides of the ball with clear athleticism.
Ace Buckner Ace Buckner 6'1" | PG La Lumiere | 2024 #195 Nation IN – G – OBC
Buckner was one of the top players of the day, showing out in each of his performances. The smooth guard hit three threes in a close game against ESF, while also sharing the ball and making smart passes. He is an athletic, long guard who has great speed, balance, and pace to his game. Elevated up for a slam at the rim as well. Very mature prospect who is still just a 2024.
CJ Wilson – G/W – Mid Ohio Pumas
Wilson is a 6-foot-1, 175-pound guard/wing who has that toughness you can’t teach. Played all game with a chip on his shoulder, going right at the defense and letting them know after he got a bucket. Loved his baseline drives and finishing ability in traffic. Versatile athlete plays WR and CB on the football field and can really get up and use his length to his advantage.
Caden Kruse Caden Kruse 6'6" | PF Napoleon | 2024 State OH – F – Hopson Elite
Kruse is a big-bodied forward who runs well and battles on the boards. Solid post defender who used his length to tip away post entry feeds, sometimes even diving around his man to pick off the pass. Very strong base/legs allowed him to position himself well for rebounds and loose balls. Good looking jumper from the mid-range. Numerous finger-roll finishes in transition.
Zycheus Dobbs Zycheus Dobbs 6'2" | CG Fairmont | 2024 State WV – G/F – Easy Street Family (WV)
Dobbs is a physically and athletically gifted prospect who has tremendous power when attacking the rim. He used both hands to finish, and used his long frame to block shots on the defensive end. His lower body strength allowed him to defend the post as well as any non-big man on the day. Dobbs has soft touch in the paint and a steady handle for a big guard. Listed at 6-foot-2 but plays bigger than his height.
Zander Woodruff Zander Woodruff 6'2" | CG Laingsburg | 2024 State MI – G/W – DV 45
Woodruff is a lanky shooter who torched INB from deep, hitting four threes with his smooth lefty stroke. Stepped right into his threes with rhythm, never once hesitating when he had an open look. He finished at the rim well too, protecting the ball on his drives and fluidly laying it in. Always looking to score, but also dished out numerous smart passes to his teammates.
