Darek Anderson (2023, PG, Motor City Grizzlies 2023, Detroit Loyola)
Anderson is a speedy guard that can play through and around his defender. He does a nice job leading the way with the ball in transition.
Dee Bothwell Dee Bothwell 5'9" | PG Muskegon | 2025 State MI (2025, PG, BNB 2025, Muskegon)
Bothwell has been lights out this spring. He’s been a true playmaker with the ball in his hands. Bothwell has shown versatility in being able to both facilitate as well as get timely buckets.
Jordan Briggs Jordan Briggs 6'0" | PG Muskegon | 2023 State MI (2023, PG, REACH Legends Detroit 17u, Muskegon)
Briggs has a lot of people paying attention to his game right now. He’s a jitterbug type guard that puts the ball on the floor and gets through even the smallest lanes to the rim. If Briggs continues to play like this, offers should roll in.
Luchie Carpenter Luchie Carpenter 6'2" | SG Lincoln Park | 2023 State MI (2023, SG, Supreme Elite 17u, Lincoln Park)
Carpenter is an athletic guard that can put a lot of pressure on a defense. He can get out in the open floor quickly, both handling the ball or filling in on a wing.
Travon Cooper Travon Cooper 6'4" | SF Detroit Cass Tech | 2024 State MI (2024, SF, Motor City Grizzlies 2023, Detroit Cass Tech)
Cooper is a versatile forward that can defend multiple positions. He has an impressive combination of strength and athleticism. Cooper is a bouncy forward that can finish with authority.
Braylon Dickerson Braylon Dickerson 6'4" | CG Ann Arbor Huron | 2023 State MI (2023, SG, The Academy, Ann Arbor Huron)
Dickerson is incredibly impressive when he’s slashing to the rim and attacking the basket. He has good body control that helps him finish in traffic. Dickerson will be a player to watch this summer and into next high school season.
Makell Johnson Makell Johnson 6'4" | SF Roseville | 2023 State MI – Dobbs (2023, SG, Supreme Elite 17u, Michigan Collegiate)
Dobbs has been a factor on both ends of the floor. He’s a multi level scorer with toughness at the rim and range that extends beyond the 3 point line.
Brian Everhart Brian Everhart 6'0" | CG Cardinal Mooney | 2024 State MI (2024, CG, Motor City Grizzlies 2024, Cardinal Mooney)
Everhart has been playing good basketball this spring. I’d say that he’s underrated as a player. Everhart can flat out put the basketball through the net, finding a variety of ways to score.
Myles Gregory (2024, PG, Motor City Grizzlies 2024, Belleville)
Gregory broke out during Belleville’s stellar season. He’s a quick guard that can put the ball on the floor and make things happen. You never have to worry about a stagnant offense with him at the helm.
Bryce Hewins (2024, G, Motor City Grizzlies 2024, Southfield A&T)
Hewins has shown a solid mid range game. He doesn’t waste dribbles, but instead gets right to his spot and gets his shot up. Hewins has a nice looking lefty stroke.
Kenoly Jones Kenoly Jones 5'10" | PG Stevenson | 2022 State MI (2022, PG, Livonia Stevenson, Supreme Elite 17u)
Let’s just say it, Kenoly Jones Kenoly Jones 5'10" | PG Stevenson | 2022 State MI is a star type player. He can score creatively off the bounce as well as step behind the arc and bury a triple. Jones has been one of the toughest covers in the Prep Hoops Circuit.
Dashawn Martin Dashawn Martin 6'0" | SG Detroit Loyola | 2023 State MI (2023, SG, Motor City Grizzlies 2023, Detroit Loyola)
Martin has turned heads so far this grassroots season. He’s an athletic scorer that can really do damage in the open floor. Martin is creative with the ball and has a solid pull up jumper.
Derrick Miller Derrick Miller 5'11" | CG Detroit Cass Tech | 2024 State MI (2024, PG, Motor City Grizzlies 2024, Detroit Cass Tech)
Miller is a solid lead guard that has made people pay attention this early grassroots season. He’s a good ball handler and an efficient passer.
Michael Myles (2024, SG, Supreme Elite 17u, Redford Union)
Myles is a really solid all around athlete. His feet are quick and smooth and he can play at a high speed. Myles is making a name for himself on the defensive end.
Kenneth Robertson (2023, PG, Motor City Grizzlies 2023, Detroit Cass Tech)
Robertson has shown off a solid perimeter game this spring. He has a nice speed burst with the ball in his hands and is an efficient shooter.
Luke Salkowski (2024, F, Motor City Grizzlies 2024, Brother Rice)
Salkowski has been a key part of the success of his Motor City Grizzlies squad. I’ve been most impressed with his footwork on both ends of the floor.
Quinton Steele Quinton Steele 6'7" | PF Groves | 2022 State MI (2022, PF, Supreme Elite 17u, Groves)
Steele might be a steal. He’s athletic around the rim and can score with his back to the basket as well as facing the rim. He rebounds the ball high and plays good vertical defense.
Anthony Sydnor III Anthony Sydnor III 6'3" | PG Muskegon | 2023 State MI (2023, PG, REACH Legends Detroit 17u, Muskegon)
Sydnor has consistently attacked the rim off the bounce. He’s made plays for his teammates with pretty dump off passes and for himself by finishing strong in traffic. Sydnor has been very active around the rim as well.
Markiese Young (2024, SG, Motor City Grizzlies 2024
Young has impressed with his game and upside this spring. He has good hip movement when attacking the rim and is creative in how he gets there. Young has been solid in transition.
