(Semo Select 17U): An athletic 6’4” wing from Poplar Bluff who’s an impressive slasher who puts constant pressure on opposing defenses. He’s very good in transition when he stays on the attack. He’s a solid ball handler who can also hit the perimeter jumper to keep defenders honest.
Lee Williams (Gateway 16U): A 6’5 2024 small forward from University City who can really impact the game at both ends. He was disruptive on defense with his size and length as he played the passing lanes well. He was excellent in the transition game and he could hit the 3-pointer.
Ashton Matthews (St Louis Cobras Select 17U): A 5’9 2024 point guard from Francis Howell Central who has excellent court vision and a high basketball IQ. The young lefty has excellent quickness and can deliver the pinpoint pass while scoring on his dribble penetration.
Maxwell Owen Maxwell Owen 6'4" | SF Doniphan | 2023 State MO (Semo Select 17U): A 6’4 2023 wing who has an impressive 3-point shooting stroke with a quick release. He also caused matchup problems with his ability to beat bigger defenders off the dribble.
Nehemiah Reedus (St. Louis Warriors 17U): A 6’3 2023 guard from Miller Career Academy who has a smooth game that’s under control. The long and lanky southpaw has a quick first step to get to the basket and he can knock down the open 3-pointer.
LaTroy McIntosh (Semo Select 16U): A 6’6 2024 forward from Cape Girardeau Central who was one of the most impressive athletes I saw during the weekend. He’s explosive around the basket, but he also has a nice touch inside. He’s an active rebounder who also runs the court.
Angel Cruz (St Louis Cobras ANM): A 6’0 2024 forward who plays much bigger than his actual size. He’s built like a linebacker and he outworks bigger players with his explosive leaping ability and high motor. He rebounds out of his area and can jump over defenders to score inside.
Jaylen Calloway (Patriots 17U): A 6’0 point guard from Parkway South who has good quickness and creative handles. He could break down defenders and keep them off balance with ability to change speeds with the bounce.
Judd Thoma (Semo Select 16U): A 6’4 2024 wing from Jackson who plays a solid all-around game. He can get downhill on the drive to score at the rim and he plays well without the basketball. Everything flows better when he’s on the court.
