For fans, it is a super entertaining brand of basketball to watch and I can only imagine that the players love getting up and down the way that the Eagles do. Coach Manson’s team executes sets and situations as well as anyone in North Dakota. Davies scored the most points per game last season and they had the biggest turnover margin in the EDC. There is a distinct reason why Davies won the EDC Regular-Season Championship, the EDC Tournament Championship, and they took home a 3rd place finish at the State Tournament. The Eagles play fast, they score a ton of points, and they force a high amount of turnovers. In most games, the Eagles will simply overwhelm their opponents with speed, quick scoring, and defensive pressure. Manson’s Eagles have made it to State 9 of the past 10 years. Davies is hands down one of the top basketball programs in North Dakota and the man behind it all is head coach Bart Manson. In January, this North Dakota coaching legend picked up his 400th career coaching victory! Congrats to coach Manson on an amazing career! When looking at next season, I expect Davies to be right back near the top of the EDC and you should plan on the Eagles to make another trip to the State Tournament.
