Ryan Beasley Ryan Beasley 5'11" | PG Dougherty Valley | 2023 State #228 Nation CA-N 5’10 2023 PG, SG of Dougherty Valley HS, CA
Beasley played on Saturday only. He did enough to remind us he’s still one of the top prospects when he steps on the court in NorCal. The electrifying scorer has many ways to get a buckets. Half-court, and in transition he’s a consistent scoring threat when he has the ball. He has great vision, his superb ball handling and passing skills gets overlooked at times.
Joey Kennedy Joey Kennedy 6'6" | PF University | 2023 State CA-N 6’7 2023 Forward of University HS, CA.
Kennedy a hi IQ prospect had his inside-out game working at this event. He’s been a solid producer for a while now having an effect on both ends. He has a solid body and works the post area with good footwork and finishes around the basket. He’s an excellent passer with vision from the high post area, along with an improving shot from 3. He’ll battle for rebounds and defend the post. A good outlet passer.
Isaiah Chandavong Isaiah Chandavong 6'4" | SF Inderkum | 2023 State CA-N 6’3 2023 CG of Inderkum HS, CA.
He was consistent on both days we watched showing good athleticism we hadn’t seen much of. He handled the ball well up top creating for himself, and finishing strong drives to the bucket. He finished well in transition, with dunks and reverse layups. He got his rebounds, and led the transition break with good passing and decision making.
Kodey Weary 6’7 2023 Forward of Coronado HS Las Vegas NV.
Weary surprised us showing up at this event. He was a bit slow to start things, but soon found his footing and found ways to be productive on the court. He’s long and can have impact with his length on both ends of the court. He did well scoring in and around the basket. He can hit the short jumper. He can have an effect without scoring when locked in. He’s a high level rebounder, he can handle in transition. He’s a solid post area defender, who can block a shot.
Connor Amundsen 5’10 PG 2024 of Clovis North HS, Fresno, CA.
He always seems to be in the flow of the game, whether it’s putting pressure on the defense in transition, or doing other things to help his team. He has solid ball handling skills, a willing passer. He can generate buckets in different ways. He gets into the paint regularly playing off two feet, forcing the defense to react. He’ll hit the paint jumper with regularity. His 3’s go in.
Kellen Torrey Kellen Torrey 5'10" | PG California | 2023 State CA-N 5’11 2023 PG of California HS, CA. (featured)
Torrey has been a consistent guard during the live spring sessions. He’s an excellent ball handler, and passer with the vision to spot open players in transition or half-court. He shows he can properly run an offense as a point guard, yet get into scoring mode when necessary off the ball. He has the ability to get into the paint, and decide. He can stop and pop with the mid-range, and he’s a solid on ball defender.
Derek Lamb Derek Lamb 6'6" | PF Whitney | 2023 State CA-N 6’7 2023 F/PF of Oakmont HS, CA
Lamb has come on during the spring. He’s playing with more urgency and consistency working in the post area. He’s a long body with good fundamental skills in and around the post area. He has an improving shot in the paint, he’s finishing stronger off two feet going up taking body blows. He’ll get his rebounds and runs the court.
Tyler Jones Tyler Jones 6'2" | PG Archbishop Mitty | 2024 State CA-N 6’1 2024 PG, CG of Archbishop Mitty HS, CA
Jones has been working on his mid-range game it showed up at this event, as he knocked down jumpers in transition and in half court sets sometimes using his dribble. He seems to be getting stronger by the way he was making contact on drives into the paint and his aggressiveness playing defense. He handles the ball a lot, his decision making and passing are good.
Anthony Moore Anthony Moore 6'5" | SF Lincoln, Stockton | 2025 State #368 Nation CA-N 6’5 2025 W/F of Lincoln HS, CA
It was only a few weeks ago we noticed Moore transitioning from just a post player. He rebounds and defends also, but at this event the continuation of his outside development was on display. This was a breakout jump shot shooting performance for Moore as he consistently knocked down 3-pointers and mid-range shots in a highly physical and competitive game playing up in the 16U division. He’s putting in the work, consistency with the jumper elevates his game.
