6’4 CG Collin Chandler Collin Chandler 6'5" | CG Farmington | 2022 State #28 Nation UT || Farmington High School || Utah Prospects || BYU ||
It hasn’t been that long since we have seen Collin put on a show as he was invited to a few All-Star event starting with one in New Orleans during the Final Four and he was also invited to play with the Portland Generals as they took on Team World and the USA Select team. Many feel that he was a snub to games like the Iverson Classic and the McDonald’s All-American game but either way Collin has moved and and he is still that guy.
Slam Dunk Contest
During the Slam Dunk Contest Collin reminded everyone of how bouncey he is as he hit the crowd and judges with some old school and new school dunks. Collin can fly and he had some good attempts.
What’s Next
We won’t be able to see Collin suit up for a few more years as he is reclassifying to the Class of 2024 when he returns from an LDS 2 year Mission to Africa. Upon return BYU will be in the BIg 12 and anxiously awaiting a player that has so much potential and growth left in his game and he will be able to showcase it against one of the best conferences in the country.
6’7 Chris Bunch Chris Bunch 6'7" | SG Wasatch Academy | 2022 State #74 Nation UT || Wasatch Academy || Syracuse ||
This kid is an incredible find who fits exactly what is needed at Syracuse and that is length, multiple position ability and this kid is a dog. Chris not only displays his length and agility on offense you can see his star power on defense as well.
Three-Point Contest
Chris took home the trophy as he went off and was in the zone. Not many open three’s were taken at his time at Wasatch Academy but he will soon get a chance to display that shooting ability at the next level.
6’9 F Jaxon Kohler Jaxon Kohler 6'9" | PF Southern California Academy | 2022 #49 Nation CA-S | So. Cal Academy || SFG || Michigan State ||
Best footwork in America, maybe. Not too many will argue that Jaxon has always had talent but he has shown everyone across the country that he can move and he has one of the deepest bags when he is being guarded 1 on 1. This kid is too nice. Hopefully he can see the floor quickly at Michigan State.
6’2 PG Richard Isaacs || Coronado High School || Belmont Shore || Texas Tech ||
Richard has been at the top of his class for so long and when he was at Wasatch he was doing his thing as he did this past season at Coronado. He heads to Texas Tech where he will link up with a Pro potential big leaving Utah Vally. Do not be surprised if you see Pop Pop make his way into the rotation, he is a competitive dude.
