These names should not be much of a surprise as they are quickly working their way up the rankings ladder. While only 4 players landed on the Top 50 from this area I fully expect that number to grow in the coming months. Let’s take a deeper dive:
#19 Christian Maxon Christian Maxon 6'2" | CG Fort Pierce Central | 2025 State FL – Fort Pierce Central High School – This 6 foot combo guard is one half of the dynamic duo known as the Maxon Twins or “Sniper Twins” Christian now breaks into the Top 20 and I feel after his sophomore season will be in the Top 10. I have been around these boys since 3rd grade and can tell you their work ethic is second to none. Christian is a gym rat who is a walking bucket and can score points in a hurry. The freshman averaged 14 points per game while shooting 49% from beyond the arc and over 80% on free throws. Christian has a nonstop motor and goes hard on both ends of the floor. He plays with great energy and passion while doing whatever is needed to put his team in a position to win. Easily the best freshman in the Palm Beach Treasure Coast area and one to continue to keep an eye on.
#29 CHRISTOPHER MAXON CHRISTOPHER MAXON 6'1" | PG Fort Pierce Central | 2024 FL – Fort Pierce Central High School – Christopher is making his Top 30 debut on the new rankings release and had a solid freshman season on varsity averaging 7 points per game while shooting 42% on 3’s. Christopher overcame some injuries to help his team have a strong finish to the high school season and now is in full gear on the travel circuit lighting up gyms across the country. Christopher lives in the gym and has outstanding fundamentals. He plays with a high basketball IQ and is a floor general. Christopher is a consistent outside shooter who also attacks the rim and is a solid defender. I expect Christopher to continue his rise as well on this list in the months ahead.
#32 Sean Standifer Sean Standifer 6'4" | SG Lake Worth | 2025 State FL – Wellington High School – Sean is a 6’4 wing he is quickly gaining attention due to his frame and overall game. Sean is a consistent shooter from the outside and an above average rebounder. Sean has good fundamentals and plays with good energy on both ends of the court. Sean averaged 4 points and 3 rebounds per game on a loaded Wellington team and is poised for a breakout sophomore season ahead. Keep an eye on this young man.
#49 Xavian Charles Xavian Charles 5'9" | PG Santaluces | 2025 State FL – Santaluces High School – This lightning quick guard is a straight up dog on the court and is someone you want on your squad. He can get to the basket with ease and hurt you from the outside. A strong defender who is making noise throughout the area. His stock will continue to climb with the time he puts in on his game and the intensity he plays with. I have always enjoyed watching him play.
