Rj Griffin Rj Griffin 6'4" | PF Springfield Shawnee | 2023 State OH , 6’4 PF Springfield Shawnee 2023 Dayton Elite: Griffin is a two-sport stud for Springfield Shawnee, also playing with Zion Crowe Zion Crowe 6'4" | SG Springfield Shawnee | 2023 State OH in both the winter and spring on the hardwood. Griffin had a big game against Ohio Buckets-Turf, showing his physicality on the interior and he was able to knock down a couple outside shots as well. Griffin might choose to play football at the next level, but he’s certainly a capable college basketball prospect based on what I saw this weekend.
Tyler Galluch Tyler Galluch 6'4" | PF Catholic Central | 2023 State OH , 6’3 PF Springfield Central Catholic 2023 Dayton Elite: Galluch is a small school sleeper who won conference player of the year as a Junior. Galluch is an explosive athlete on the interior with the strength to move smaller defenders in the paint. Galluch finished with both hands around the basket. While Galluch is a very productive high school player, it’ll be interesting to see him transition to the college level as he likely has to play the power forward position at 6’3, unless he improves his handle and jump-shot.
Patrick McHugh, 6’7 C Summit Country Day 2023 Shining Star Price: McHugh pops due to his size at 6’7 with a wide frame. While McHugh didn’t really show much offensive skill, he was grabbing a lot of rebounds and his size will get him recruited. Many small colleges are looking for size to work with once they get on their campus and McHugh seems like a decent bet to try and develop into a contributor on the interior.
Daniel Fetty Daniel Fetty 6'3" | SG Grove City | 2023 State OH , 6’2 SG Grove City 2023 Mid Ohio Pumas Roberts: Fetty is the definition of the microwave scorer who had some buckets in quick succession throughout the entire weekend. Fetty can get hot from the outside in a hurry and had multiple big games from the outside. Fetty can create his own shot and was a leading scorer for Grove City last winter.
Alexander Parks Alexander Parks 5'8" | PG Withrow | 2023 State OH , 5’8 PG Withrow 2023 Queen City Prophets: Parks is a top guard in the CMAC and stood out with the Queen City Prophets this weekend. Parks is a tough point guard who plays bigger than his listed height. Parks was mostly a passer this weekend, showing good chemistry with Taft stud Eian Elmer Eian Elmer 6'6" | SF Taft | 2023 State OH . Parks showed he could score the basketball during the winter and was efficient with the few shots he did take this weekend. Parks will make his debut in the rankings during our next update in July/August.
