Today, we look at that cross section and offer players at a variety of schools.
Ross Eyer Ross Eyer 6'4" | CG Muncy | 2023 State PA | 6’4” | G-F | Muncy
A three sport athlete who will have interest from colleges in football, basketball and baseball. Eyer has eye popping range on his shot but can also get down low and do the dirty work when needed. His ability to score at multiple levels should be of interest. He averaged 21&13 as a junior. Playing in a rural area, the most notable performances from him were against Class A Finalist St John Neumann(14&10, 15&18).
Yassir Joyner| 6’3” | G | South Philadelphia
A tough, left handed slasher with good side who attacks the rim strong. Handles the ball well. He can play facing the hoop or back defenders down. Good footwork when he’s trying to post up defenders. He went over 20 on the regular and over 30 several times. His talent should bring college coaches to the building this coming winter.
Nasir Washington | 6’3” | G | West Philadelphia
The heartbeat of the Speedboys as a junior. He’s a strong guard who has good ballhandling skills and can attack the basket with force. He’s comfortable creating his own shot and also gets out in transition. He crashes the glass on offense to create second chances. Averaged nearly 20PPG as West Philadelphia had a resurgence this year. Scholarship level player.
Dinero Washington Dinero Washington 5'10" | PG Collegium Charter | 2022 State PA | 5’11” | G | Collegium Charter
Collegium had a 26-3 season last year and Washington was one of the key pieces to the puzzle. Shifty guard who can shoot from deep, runs the floor well as a lead guard and attacks the basket with power. He’s already across 1,000 points for his career. Had several impressive outings as a junior, most notably his 20 point outing vs Pope John Paul II in the playoffs. Could get a look from scholarship programs with a strong senior year.
