A.J. Lux A.J. Lux 6'3" | SG Crown Point | 2023 State IN — W — Team GRIII 2023
Lux is a prospect that has seen his stock go through the roof this weekend. A sweet-shooting wing who can get hot in a hurry, Lux is a pure shot-maker. In a blowout win over Hoops 4 Health International, Lux was on fire. He made threes, scored inside, and played with a lot of effort and intensity on the defensive end. Lux is a prospect that has certainly capitalized on the opportunity that the live period provides.
Jeremiah Fears — PG — Hoops 4 Health International 2023
A prospect playing up two age levels is rare to see. But a prospect playing up two age levels and playing well… You almost never see that. Even though his team fell in a lopsided contest, I was still very impressed with the play of Fears. He is an extremely poised point guard who always seems to make the right pass. He showed promise as a scorer, too. Fears converted on a couple of jump shots and did a really nice job of using his quickness to get to the rim. With a handful of big-time college programs in attendance, Fears was a standout performer.
Trey’dez Green — PF — LA Broncos 2024
Green solidified himself this weekend as one of the better prospects in the 2024 class. He was already ranked as the second-best player in Louisiana’s 2024 class, but at The Stage, the power forward took a big step forward. A phenomenal tight end on the football field, Green is one of the rare athletes who will have the opportunity to choose which sport he plays in college. Using his 6-foot-8 frame, Green is able to muscle his way inside and finish through contact. He has also proved to be a great shot-blocker and rebounder. He was able to record 30 points Sunday morning.
Babatunde Durodola — SF — Canada Elite UAA 2025
I have a feeling that Durodola is going to be a prospect that you will be hearing about for years to come. The 2025 small forward is already a very high-level player, and he still has a lot of room to grow. In a win over PLUTO Prospects, Durodola scored ten points and showed off some of his skills. Around the basket, the SF is a force. He uses his size and length to convert on some pretty difficult shots.
Torian Lee — PG — Canada Elite UAA 2025
I really liked how Lee played at the point guard position for his team in a win on Sunday. The 5-foot-10 PG is blazing fast, and he was very good finishing around the rim. Despite being just about 5-foot-10, the PG has an uncanny ability to convert on layups amongst taller players. He was able to tally ten points in a win for Canada Elite.
Gage Kampman Gage Kampman 6'7" | PF Iowa City Liberty | 2024 State IA — PF — Iowa Barnstormers 2024
I don’t think that Kampman is ever going to be the type of prospect to put up big-time scoring numbers. But that’s okay. The power forward is still able to impact the game in a positive way without scoring much. He is a tremendous shot-blocker on defense. Using his long arms, the PF is able to thwart opponents shot attempts. On offense, he is a great rebounder who always gives his team huge second chance opportunities.
Anquan Boldin Jr Anquan Boldin Jr 6'5" | CG IMG Academy | 2023 FL — CG — Ball4Lyfe 2023
Boldin is an athletic specimen. Son of former NFL receiver Anquan Boldin, the guard out of Florida uses his combination of athleticism and skill to make defenders look silly. After playing at a high level all weekend, Boldin made sure that he went out on a high note. In a blowout win for Ball4Lyfe, the combo guard tallied a very impressive 32 points on 12 made field goals. He scored from everywhere, too. Boldin made shots in the paint, in the midrange, from three, and got to the foul line often. One of the biggest stock risers from the weekend, I wouldn’t be surprised if college programs start to show interest in the talented Florida prospect.
Ahmere Carson Ahmere Carson 6'2" | PG Anderson | 2023 State IN — PG — EG 10
I thought that Carson did a lot of great things this weekend in Indianapolis. Playing for EG 10, the point guard got his AAU season off to a good start at the Grit Region Kick Off. He continued to play at a high level at The Stage. In his last game of the tournament, Carson made a strong final impression. In a tough loss, the PG was able to put up 24 points.
