The San Francisco Rebels are a long standing Grassroots Program in The City by the Bay dedicated to helping the youth. Here’s a look at the 15’s who we thought stood out.
Antonio Kellogg Jr 6’1 G of San Leandro HS. Hayward, CA.
A no-nonsense ball player with good intensity and focus on the court. He’s a long armed prospect who can get after it on both sides of the court. He’s a quality ball handler who can beat his man off the dribble from different angles including the baseline to get his points in the paint. He has a paint jumper a floater and he can handle contact. He’s long, quick and guards with good intensity full and half-court. He’s on the Wright’s Watch List.
Zaire King 6’2 2025 G of Cristo Rey De la Salle HS Oakland, CA.
King got off to a good start with his tenacity on the defensive side of the ball. He has the tools to be a disruptor in the full court. He’s long, with quick hands, and feet, his quick lateral movements and intensity was on display as he hounded ball handlers forcing turnovers, and disrupting the other teams offensive flow. He has some tools to work with on offense as well.
MyKel Patton MyKel Patton 6'0" | PG Sacred Heart Cathedral | 2025 State CA-N 6’0 2025 PG of Sacred Heart Cathedral HS San Francisco, CA
Patton is a confident guard who is relentless attacking the basket. He has the speed, and handles to get by most defenders. He has good vision and passing skills. He often found teammates with no look dime passes for buckets. Like most of the 15u Rebels he’ll get after it on the defensive side putting pressure on ball handlers.
Paul Antoine 5’11 G of Wallenberg HS San Francisco, CA.
He’s a hard playing ball Hawk on the defensive side of the ball. He’s long, with quick hands, and feet. His lateral movements with arms extended caused problems for ball handlers bringing it up court. He’s excellent up top in trapping situations. He’s good in transition, and the open court playing through contact and finishing around the rim. He’s on the Wright’s Watch List.
Sage Copeland 5’9 CG of Alameda HS Alameda, CA.
He was one of the better shooters on this team. He spotted up well for corner 3’s. He has a good stop, and pop mid-range jumper in transition that goes down. He has a decent set of handles to into the paint for floaters and paint jumpers. He had a few reverse layups for points in the paint.
Deandre Demisse 6’0 CG of Raoul Wallenberg Traditional HS San Francisco, CA.
He has the tools and the confidence to play both guard spots. He was mostly off ball using his strength and handles to get to the basket through contact for strong finishes in the paint. He’s a quality ball handler with good passing. He’ll defend multiple positions and will help with the rebounding, pushing it when he gets the opportunity. He’s on the Wright’s Watch List.
