Daron Davis Daron Davis 5'11" | PG Bartlesville | 2023 OK , 5’11 PG, SSA Elite 2023 Black KS (From Bartlesville, OK) (Pictured): A very gifted passer and sees the court really well. Does a great job of kicking it ahead in transition for guys to go make plays in the open court as well as slicing the floor and creating tough closeouts and matchups for guys sprinting back on defense. Very solid overall point guard prospect, can get in to the lane and has some good looking shots in the mid painted area and with some consistency could be a lethal weapon for him to accommodate his drive and kick game. Shot 58% from 3 in the first live weekend on 26 attempts as well.
Chris Carpenter Chris Carpenter 5'9" | PG Huntington | 2023 State LA , 5’9 PG, OWE 2023 LA: Is a very talented and active lead guard that is great guarding all 94 ft of the basketball court, flying into gaps to get deflections and steals, and turns great defense into instant offense for himself or his teammates. Fits the mold of the OWE lead guards I am accustomed to seeing, talented, hard nosed, passionate, and contributes a ton to winning big games. Shifty and great at getting by guys and a good finisher.
Carmello McNeil, 6’3 PG/G, Minnesota Chill 2023 (Unsigned Senior): McNeil showed in the first live stage that he is a very versatile guard who’s point guard skills really stand out with his length at 6’3 and longer arms. Is a really tough finisher through contact on drives, can face up in the in the mid post and score over smaller guards, gets his team into good offensive rhythm, and plugs gaps and gets steals at a high rate.
Jack Larimore, 6’1 PG, All Missouri Attack: Has good size and is a pivotal competitor for a good Bolivar program in school ball. Is a guard prospect I’m interested in seeing live as well as the Attack team who had a good start earlier in the spring in a Prep Hoops opening event. Larimore can run the show in the back court, handle ball pressure, and is a solid shooter from the perimeter. Can mix it up and play off the ball as well.
Nick Sanchez, 5’9 PG, D1 New Mexico 2023: Is a high IQ point guard who can get guys off balance and put the defense in tough spots. Has a nice intermediate pull up game off the bounce and does a great job of attacking off jab steps, hard closeouts, or moving in the half court to get to his spot off the bounce. Is great at understanding where to move on the floor, rotating the ball to open guys, getting the ball into the painted area off the bounce or throwing it inside, and is tough as nails.
Devon Woods, 5’11 PG, EG10 2023: Could be one of the most dominant point guards you will see in any given weekend. Impacts the game scoring it at a high level and getting his guys great looks for easy assist opportunities do to his playmaking. His handle with the basketball is top tier and handles ball pressure really well. You can tell he loves to guard as well and really sets the standard for his guys on defense, picking up the ball high and hard near the half court line. Woods will be must watch at the #PHLive.
